Your voice volume is almost imperceptible when the guitar is turned up to the right volume. Maybe simply speaking louder would solve the problem. But it is a good presentation of a little known but great guitar. This guitar needs more publicity! Thank you.

Hey really appreciated that you did this review using an amplifier that didn't cost thousands of dollars. EMGs seem to have a less intense high end than the Legator Hive pickups. In my experience it's much easier to "add" additional EQ than to remove it. Hive pickups seem to be totally acceptable, but may be more suited for players that are more experienced with equalizing.

@benchristopher76 Great video my friend! If the Jackson JS Roads 22-7 HT arrives in your shop, can you please do a demo of it? Possibly the new Jackson JS King V 22-7 HT? Both of those models are models that Jackson released this year! Around the $250, and $270 price. If it's possible, can you please do a demo of the $200 Jackson JS 22-7 HT guitar? I'd like to hear three of those Jackson models tested through the Peavey Vypyr VIP 2, and Peavey Vypyr X2. Keep up the guitar demos buddy! Also, please do some more 9 string unboxing, and demo videos! Would like to hear how those 9 strings sound when chugging, and playing those instruments through the Peavey amps you have in stock! Keep it metal brother!

Peavey has more Realism still to this day and you do not need a computer program to get the MOST out of a VYPYR either, unlike the Katana whose software updates are a pain.

Not knocking on the 6505MH, but I owned the ValvekingMH and it had issues. I think they share the same tubes. But the Valve king would shut down at times when being pushed. For about 15-30 seconds. Not even full volume. It was unpredictable. Just my experience.

Yes, so mush hiss and noise that I turned down buying the MH a couple years ago after being very excited by it from KZbin videos. I've been hoping they would address it for the 112 release, but that prayer went unanswered. The gain is so dang high that it's dang near unusable and there's no resolution on the gain knob other than turning it to 11. It fizzes as soon as the potentiometer breaks 0.
@reptilianaliengamedev3612
@reptilianaliengamedev3612 2 күн бұрын
@@bradatherton9369 use a after market noise gate and a power conditioner would probably get rid of it. It is most likely like that because how much gain it has. Those amps always needed to have a really good quality gate to get the best out of it and your missing out on a hell of a amp with the invective. The attenuator is a must have for all amps, but seems like Peavey is the only one that understands that.

Bc Rich needs more respect, nice to see this getting some TLC restored back to original spec, I don't get the change to emg because the originals usually had the preamp boost anyway plus the old DiMarzio pickups are extremely versatile, I think the only thing I wouldn't use in the old school wiring is the varitone
