3rd base coach cost them the chance at winning the game. How the hell do they not know the situation down by 2. This is the top level of college softball. That run at the plate doesn't matter. It doesn't win the game and it doesn't tie the game. Absolutely zero reason to send the runner on a 50/50 play. I wouldn't even send her on 75/25 chance to score. No advantage at all. What a waste of another opportunity to put the ball in play. stupid.
