These are great sermons. Just as timeless now as then . But r his man's voice does a great service . I have clicked on other Spurgeon sermons they are not as good as with this man's voice . Thoroughly enjoyable.

@@bobiggy1162 I assume that you know Our Lord founded His Church on the Apostles (Matt 16:18-19) and sent them to teach for salvation of souls until the end of the world (Matt 28:20). And please read Luke 10:16 and what Did Our Lord say? Did our Lord send the Apostles to teach Calvinism? No! He sent them to teach people to OBSERVE ALL HE COMMANDED (Matt 28:20), and said "Whoever believes your teachings and baptized will be saved, and whoever does not will be condemned (Mark 16:16)." Why follow false teachings and lose your eternal salvation?
@bobiggy1162Күн бұрын
@@hyeminkwun9523 Nah! You’re just wrong and unlearn-ed! It’s Truly Calvinism ‘also’ in the sense and Essence that all Calvinistic Tenets are fully Christian Tenets! He, Augustine, and the high majority of Pilgrims, Puritans, and the Reformers knew this. And they highlighted these Biblically Profound Doctrines found throughout their writings, which are ALL throughout His Most Holy Word!
@bobiggy1162Күн бұрын
Keep studying so you’ll see and know this, too. Else stay basically ignorant of Christ, His Holy Word, & the Treasure Troves of Great Christian works of the past that we have of Calvinistic, Biblical Truth!✝️📖🙏👍

Perfection is not attained for anyone on earth. Only after earth. This beings me so much consolation and peace. Thank you LORD for this revelation. Thank you for your spirit within me.

As students mature in the Word of God, this is a beautiful translation. Try the English Standard Version, ESV for short. Or New American Standard. Excellent sources to start with.

Did not mean to lay any heavy burdens. You can understand Gods word through God , in the kjv. It helped me study more in depth. Gods word in other accepted translations is good. The kjv will not lay any burden. God will enlighten you.

😭❤🔥 "Let your ear to be charmed by your Hallelujah chorus but do not dream that you could endure its harmonies all the hours of the day. Before long, you would cry out for eloquent pauses and sweet release of silence. Too much of delight will weary our feeble hearts and we shall need to come down from the mount. Our bodies require a portion of sleep" These words declare and cement the truth of Exodus 33 : 20-23 An infinitely fractioned glory of God, and at that, experienced for just a single moment is too much for us to take and we must be sat back down for our sake. Glory be to our God

JESUS CHRIST SAVES! Dear friend, have you been saved? If you are like most people in the world today, you would probably say yes, but there are still doubts in your mind. What does the Holy Bible say about salvation? Jesus said, “Verily verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5) How can we be born of water and of the Spirit? Peter preached, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call” (Acts 2:38,39) The problem is, that the churches of today (Catholic and Protestant alike) do not preach this gospel, as the apostles of Jesus Christ preached it. And the Bible says, “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” Period. (2 John 1:9) Who shall we believe, then? The churches, or the word of God? Jesus Christ is coming soon to judge the world in righteousness. Are you sure that you’re ready? Let’s go back to the BIBLE! No to Spurgeon. He was and is wrong. He assumes too much. We are saved by faith alone not convoluted assumptions of what he thinks God insists upon but rather a simple faith in the saving grace and atonement of our savior Christ Jesus.

Friend we all are, God bless u for seeing your sin and depravity as we all have, God has supernaturally made u see ur condition, now u need to call out to Jesus, ask Him to wash u clean with His precious blood and turn from ur sin, He will give u a new heart and u start living a new life serving Him with new desires. Read the word every day and pray to Father asking Him to keep changing you , ask for a hunger and desire to read His word and pray and strength to live how pleases Him, God is so good he does it all, we have to seek Him with all our heart but He puts everything in us to live for Him. God bless u ❤ I was a drug addict prostitute bad mom, despised by all, Jesus has washed me clean given me a new life, there is no one like Him ❤

That man said about No one talk about God nowdays is so relateable Even today, no one truly talk about God without feeling fear of getting disliked by other, and only about ridicule and mocking about God being said, the watered down gospel And this man said it almost 100 years ago The care of this age will never care about God
