John 17:20; "I pray not only for them (Apostles and disciples), but also for those who will believe in Me through their word (faithful members of His One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church)." Are you paying attention to Our Lord's words, who are not in His Only Church whom He founded on the Apostles (Matt 16:18-19) and sent to teach for salvation of souls until the end of the world (Matt 28:20)?

-Philippians 3:15-16- Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

Even the best of our intentions are likely missing the mark, as our own judgment is impaired by our fallen nature. That thought helps us to be more forgiving of ourselves and everyone, for “we know not what we do.” It is why we have to pray always and listen for Gods guidance in everything. We are never truly transformed or freed from the “sinful nature,” which is why we depend on God every moment of every day to show us the way.

Thank you for doing these lectures!!! I am not a preacher, but I have Matthew Henry's 6-volume commentary and it is STUNNING! Just started daily studying it about a year ago. The way he opens up the Word to understanding, citing so many different books of the Bible that support what he is saying is just amazing! Plus he is insightful and funny and also gives other peoples' interpretations and reasonings as well. Truly a treasure. Will have to take notes on this lecture too to find more of these holy teachers! Thanks again ❤❤❤🙏🏽

Thank you for your comments. I think Matthew Henry is excellent too. He grew up familiar with the Word of God, since his father, Philip Henry, was a distinguished Puritan. God bless. Gavin

Was this man a Sabbath keeper or not ? because he seems to be all over the place on it through the years.

Well he preached these sermons at his church on Sundays, " The Lord's Day " so to speak, not that it matters.

@MariaVazquez-du3st Maybe it was the era he was living in, perhaps they sometimes used the word "Sabbath " to mean Sunday church?

One might say because this trinity doctrine is so unprovable, that it is wrong doctrine.Yes, God is One,Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the exact image of the Father. God is Spirit,Holy Spirit to be exact.God is everywhere and all things exist in Him. No life is existing in its own power but the life giving power of God, who made all things by Jesus Christ. The life is in the blood.Human beings and other created creatures ,there life is in the blood. I see this as a type of Gods Spirit. Christ , after the resurrection of His life back into the glory He had with the Father, became a life giving Spirit. So the life is in the Spirit, which is the life of God,so to speak< his blood> IF God were "a spirit" and not "spirit" , then He would be unable to be everywhere. No, God is and there is no other like God, all powerfull,in every way.Look at all the greetings in Pauls epistles, "Grace and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ" He does not say "grace and peace from God the Father,Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit" Why? Because God IS the Holy Spirit,it is His LIFE, not a seprate personage of a so called trinity. I think that scripture supports this view, not the "trinity" Also human beings are being created into the image of God,that is similar to the Devine Being, as His born from above, by the Holy Spirit of the Father,to become His children, sons of God.Would all these children not become "one " in Christ and the Father? Yes, then this would make them part of the God family, and IF the trinity were true, this would shatter this imagined true teaching.

Wow! The greatest ministery is my ministry to my family? The greatest mission is the home. When I serve my wife and baby, I'm serving Jesus. If Jesus appeared to me and asked me to go show love to a single villager in Japan 🇯🇵, would that be worth doing? What if I give love and kindness to my wife, And to my baby? Does Jesus love them as much as the villager? This is wonderful parenting and relationship wisdom. Missions are important, oh yes. Visiting strangers is great. The deepest impact I make will be the daily walk with my family. Husbands, fathers, let us arise and be men. True men in Christ.v

There is no such thing like a saved backslider! You are either saved, converted, redeemed and chosen to be saved, or still being in the carnal hoping in vain you are saved. Of course you have been called to be saved by the hearing of the Word, but instead you have fallen into apostasy! ❤️😭

@@bobiggy1162 I assume that you know Our Lord founded His Church on the Apostles (Matt 16:18-19) and sent them to teach for salvation of souls until the end of the world (Matt 28:20). And please read Luke 10:16 and what Did Our Lord say? Did our Lord send the Apostles to teach Calvinism? No! He sent them to teach people to OBSERVE ALL HE COMMANDED (Matt 28:20), and said "Whoever believes your teachings and baptized will be saved, and whoever does not will be condemned (Mark 16:16)." Why follow false teachings and lose your eternal salvation?

@@hyeminkwun9523 Nah! You’re just wrong and unlearn-ed! It’s Truly Calvinism ‘also’ in the sense and Essence that all Calvinistic Tenets are fully Christian Tenets! He, Augustine, and the high majority of Pilgrims, Puritans, and the Reformers knew this. And they highlighted these Biblically Profound Doctrines found throughout their writings, which are ALL throughout His Most Holy Word!
