Would this topper work if my bio hair is a couple of inches longer but matched? I love the look of this topper but didn't want to have to cut my hair. Thank you for reviewing this topper and sharing your thoughts on it. Very helpful!

You did a GREAT JOB showing this. I've been online for a week to see which one out of the millions to buy. I kept coming back to the Jon Renau because I wear his wigs. I've never had a topper. But, the way you showed "The Top Notch", and showed the "Shaded Pralines" color in NATURAL LIGHT, I'm buying right now. Thanks!

I know this was 2 yrs ago, but this is perfect for you! Adorable! The question I had that you answered was how do you unshine it so it doesn’t look like Barbie hair? I know shiny healthy hair is “in”, but I don’t want Barbie shiny hair!

Wendy Posten agree! The shine really comes down with a wash, and with a spray of dry shampoo. I also wear my toppers at home for a few days or more before I go out in them...it helps it look less shiny and more fitted to my head if that makes sense...it lays better! I’ve sense moved on to a Belle Tress 16” heat resistant topper. I haven’t done a review on it yet but I’ll try to soon!

I noticed on your other review you said you gave it a vinegar rinse and dry shampooed it to reduce shine, can you use the vinegar rinse with the wavy one as well? and how do you do the vinegar rinse, is it pure vinegar or is there a ratio of water:vinegar, also, do you air dry the piece or blow it dry....Thanks....I have ordered both the toppers you reviewed....you look amazing in them and I too am struggling with hair loss.

Lisa Culver definitely dilute it. I did about two parts water for one part vinegar. Yes you can use it on the wavy one as well. It helps take a little bit of the shine out when you first get it.

I only purchased real hair as well, but after buying this I will never go back, it doesn't frizz, tangle, or lose it's curl!

Keysha, helper hair is either synthetic or real human hair that has been made into a wig or a hair topper. In the video she is wearing what is called a hair topper. The difference between a hair topper or wig is that a hair topper doesn't provide full coverage because it doesn't cover the whole head, but it can cover minimal to mid progressive hair loss along the hair line and scalp so it is perfect for women with a thinning hair on the top of their head or thinning hair line. I bought one of these off the website Pinkee Promise because my hair has also been getting really thin on top. I'll post a link to the website. It comes in two different lengths: 12 inch or 18 inch. It also comes in different colors so if you are interested in buying one but are feeling anxious because you're not sure if it will match your hair, don't worry. They have a lot of different hair colors to choose from. Hang in there. I know how hard loosing one's hair can be. Thankfully more and more great hair toppers are coming out to help us cope. :)

Top notch by Jon Renau is straight, and very thin at the back, so it has to match to exact length, color, and texture of your hair.
