Good morning Nick, Well done in keeping the online services going in these tricky times. You seem to be managing the technical aspects and this morning's video was very good. Norma and I appreciate being able to take communion with you in real time. Your anecdote about your Dad setting alight the fence when having a bonfire remind me of my bonfires when living in Scotland a few years ago. There was no fortnightly garden waste collection and so bonfires were a frequent happening. A spark landed on the wooden gate and being quite old it soon started to smoulder. Very difficult to extinguish but it happened again and again and I eventually had to build a new gate. Happy days. God bless, Duncan

In many ways this is a parable similar to the use of talents. Whatever we are given we should use. Each of us has gifts that can be used. Our not using them is a sin. There is no guarantee in using them that we will have success, whatever that is perceived to be but to sit back and do nothing is not an option. I'm not sure of the concept of being rewarded by cities in direct proportion to success but will think on it, Jim
