I have male blue gloser 100% melanin x female green gloser 100% melanin they give me : cinnamon female, agate female,blue male ???

This has been the best explanation of genotype and phenotype in canaries. Been trying to understand my bronze male. Closest I've found to understanding the melanin genes

I totally enjoyed this explanation of sex link canaries. I had a pair. Cinnamon mother, yellow father. Had a cinnamon male, and 2 ivory females. Per your explanation.

So, now you know that your yellow father must be a cinnamon carrier to have produced, with his cinnamon hen, a cinnamon male chick. Nice!
