Gokan Ryu literally translates as Rape Style, notice they don't have gkr badges when in Japan, saying the word gokan to Japanese speakers would be very embarrassing
@toanthony2 жыл бұрын
Haha. Good one. Luckily it is Go-Kan-Ryu. Two words not one. And you’re confusing kanji with language. The word for rape is Reipu. And Gokan simply means compatible. So nothing embarrassing about that.

You folks will love this one, Back when in the 1980's I decided to build a punching platform with springs on a door (your back in againist the door, you punch outward). I hand steers the springs to the door, and when I was done I stood away from the door to do punches (to build my stance). I did one punch and then it happened....WHAM !! The door hit me in the back, I it was a loose door that I just stood up againist the wall. 😛 I was laughing All the time that I took it apart. 😋

Mat Broomfield the second (when you do it fast) builds fast twitch muscle, which results in speed. Especially though rotation in the body. Many people develop arm speed but are slow through rotation

Curt Park Gotta love keyboard warriors. Karate is not just the Japanese straight back and punch from the hip. This was posted for my students, filmed in our holidays, to hopefully inspire them to do some training on their break. Secondly, anyone who does not mix up their training is failing to: - Broaden their horizons and understanding. - Adapt to various opponents. -Develop muscle strength, endurance etc.
