Always working towards a goal and being determined to succeed is a huge inspiration. I've skated for 15 years and still can't to flip tricks. Ur ollies are coming out great! U were rusty in ur other videos but now ur killin them. Should be proud of yourself! I know ur scared, that can be the best feeling sometimes. That adrenaline running through u, then u finally nail it! Try centering ur foot more, maybe tighten ur wheels so u don't feel the board sliding underneath u!

I love skateboarding. I love how it forces you to challenge yourself to stay motivated and I think it's good for mental health. I am also still learning every day. Regarding practicing your shuvits, what actually helped me is if you can find a gravel driveway it takes a lot of fear away from the worrying about the board slipping underneath your feet since the wheels dig into the ground preventing the wheels from moving. You can also practice in the grass, but the problem with practicing in the grass is that the board spins a lot slower in my opinion which can make it more difficult once you move onto flat ground where there is no friction.

Cool shoes, they look old-school. Once you landed the shuv you looked very natural doing them, should relearn them too but I hate it when they accidentally turn primo 😅

Yeah, pop shuv-its (either way) are a great to learn how to catch your board. So learning them first could help. Skating these days is so funny. Was out at my local park the other day, and this dude was doing kick flips, but he couldn't frontside 180 ollie. My warm ups go thru a recapitulation of all the first tricks( 180s, half-cabs, shuv its, etc) I learned to flip tricks (which were later). Anyway, it's weird being the old dude that can do basic tricks( like a frontside 180) that newbies can't do (even though they often flip their board before learning any basic trick. (shrug emoji). I suppose the point here would be to work on basic tricks first, but I'm not one to tell people how to skate. Still can't believe it takes people years to land a kick flips.

Here is how to kickflip... Step 1. lean over your nose a little bit. Step 2. crouch down & prepare to throw your weight over your nose as you pop. Step 3. POP but not too hard & actually ollie a tiny bit. Step 3. FLICK.... FLICK through the nose... NOT off to the side... through the nose. (I noticed you're NOT flicking your foot) The flick is the most important part! Step 4. keep your weight forward over the board and let it flip. SERIOUSLY... keep your weight over the nose because if you keep your weight centered or leaning back you will watch the board go in front of you, not stay under you and flip where you can catch it. Step 5. Catch the board and land! Step 6. Ride away! You're welcome!

Hey, at least you're out there, fighting. I think if you work on your ollies, these other tricks will definitely come. A few of the pop shuvs were close!
