In order to correct my seat and legs, I had to ride without stirrups for a year. I really learned to "sit" in the saddle with the correct positioning and it cured my legs because they went back correctly. The thigh must almost be hanging straight down and I felt as though I was riding with my knees replacing my feet. Posting was totally forward, barely lifting from the saddle and it was really amazing how it all changed.

Thanks for this video Megan, I have a quarter horse and he gets stuck and unbalanced as soon as I change direction. I need to slow it down like this

I was a student of Charles De Kunffy in the 80s. I slept with a rope on my heels pulling the heels downwards and toes up! Lol! He is Amazing! Fairwinds!

I love Janet Foy. I was privileged enough to audit an L judge’s program she was part of and equally honored to have her as a judge for my rides

my god, it reminds so much of the 3 "old Cavallerie Rittmeister" I was allowed to work with. How much energie he created in the horse in such a soft, cooperativ but very concentrated way! That is how the "Rittmeister" worked, they knew the triggerpoints of the horse. I should know his books... greatful to see this

The cat is always there ....!I've seen them in a lot of videos! Cute.....!!What's her name? You should make your own video just about this cat! She deserves it! Best regards from a german rider!

One of the loveliest lessons I have ever seen. Super horse, super rider and it was exciting to see the gradual development of the cadences. Congratulations!

Oh Megan! I so enjoyed watching that! Apollo is in the NS tactico (spelling?) loose ring. I am certainly open to trying a different bit on him. He can be quite a challenge and tends to think he is always smarter than his rider. I have to give him credit, most times he is quite smarter than me! He's my heart though! Thank you!

Love these videos! I fine them focusing, grounding and soothing while I have my pre-ride stretch! I am isolated in mid-TN and have only been riding in 2-3 clinics a year as it's 2 hours to any good instruction. I've been learning dressage for 40 years, but have 2 younger horses now and would love a consistent program. Thanks for posting!
