The joy and humility I feel as a Catholic Irish woman is difficult to express. I praise the Lord and His Holy Mother for their grace and love upon this beautiful green land. I pray deeply that it is not harmed by wicked leaders. God bless Ireland and all of humanity! 🤗

Wow. You can tell that Jean-Michel learnt English via many conversations with the Irish.

The voice of his youngest brother from the farther side of the fireplace began to sing the air Oft in the Stilly Night. One by one the others took up the air until a full choir of voices was singing. They would sing so for hours, melody after melody, glee after glee, till the last pale light died down on the horizon, till the first dark nightclouds came forth and night fell...... He heard the choir of voices in the kitchen echoed and multiplied through an endless reverberation of the choirs of endless generations of children...[Extract Portrait of an Artist]. Thanks for keeping traditions alive!

Thank you for the music! I am so sad that Sióda is no more. You have a quality that is definitely in the upper echelon of Irish musicians. I have listened to, and played, Irish music with a special fondness for the ballads but also the traditional folk music. However, I do not have the quality that you hold. Lucky me that KZbin exists so I can keep listening to you.

Seeing these fine young people really gives me hope for the future. They have such amazing gifts and are so genuine and humble at the same time. They are symbols of the true wealth of Ireland that has survived the ages, against all odds. The music keeps coming up, it can’t be beaten down or beaten back, it is like a flower that never dies.
