Hear this track often on iHeart Smooth Jazz. As always, great keys by Brian and the guitar solo is simply stellar!

So blessed to have grown up with such great music. Dennis Yost (R.I.P.) is one of my favorite singers. So soulful! The 60s were a special time.

Mesmerizing. If I may type, Carmina burana was well-known before as a student's medevial codex, and according that Gaudeamus igitur. This cycle even after a film Excalibur ,sword of king Arthur. ❤

This music is really special for me. My cousin who was also one of the closest friends I ever had, was a fan of Classics IV. This was in the 90’s. Not many people were listening to music like this in the 90’s. Anyway, he’s been gone for 7 years now. Cancer took him when he was just 41 years old. I can’t listen to any Classics IV song without thinking of him. When we were young and broke, we’d sit around in his basement and listen to music on an old dusty turntable stereo he had. Classics IV got played a lot. Rest In Peace, cousin. Thinking of you tonight and wishing you were here.

They don’t make music like this anymore. Music today is superficial and a lot of it sends the wrong message. My generation, the Woodstock generation, was truly a gentle one. No violence at Woodstock. Our music reflected the loving, gentle nature of my era. Sure, we weren’t perfect, but we were nothing like what goes on today and the current music reflects it. Today, they have robbed music of its beauty. Our music and era was an innocent one.
