Hi to all you ladies, this was great. You all touched on important things you go through life. I’m warning you this is a long post😅every age of your baby’s life is amazing, it brings new challenges but all are fun moments. In a proud mom of two amazing boys! Life was different with both of them. With my oldest I was going to school, working and didn’t have much time to spend with him. My husband had a job where he would work months at a time then be off months at a time. He spent a lot of time with both my boys, he was a great father, taking them to the park, always working out, taking him to story times, he taught them a lot like abc’s, started reading, etc. when I would get the time of course I would be doing all these activities as well, I was more of like a “manager”, I would look for the story times, buy the educational posters, books, etc. We have worked as a team, one of us does something while the other does other things, we kind of pick up what is needed. With my oldest I was getting my associates with my youngest I was getting my bachelors and now I’m on my masters. There were times I felt like a bad mom because I didn’t get to have that time with them like I would have liked to 😢 but it takes time to realize at some points that I have been part of them in a different way. When they are little and brutally honest they would talk in school about who helped you read or write and it would be my husband. Alana, is so lucky she can stay home and watch her son grow up. However, ladies, we do need our time! As a parent you never stop and especially when you are the mom, you still have to keep them on track, make sure there is a schedule being followed, stick up for them with their dad when they get in trouble but also raise them to be independent and good humans. My oldest is a junior in high school and my youngest is a sixth grader in middle school. My oldest is driving now, he loves his sports, he was a good medalist in taekwondo nationals, he started soccer three years ago, loves it, is currently doing cross country and is doing amazing! He has been doing his own laundry for years, he is on rotation to clean his restroom along with his brother, he helps clean the house, washes his plates, cooks his breakfast, he knows how to cook his own favorite dish which is salmon, he cooks other things too 😊, he sometimes goes grocery shopping with a shopping list that I make, and sometimes helps drive his brother to practices! My youngest has also been doing his laundry, “cleans” his room, makes his breakfast (eggs), makes amazing hot sandwiches, cleans the restroom, helps clean the house, has done tae kwondo, soccer and recently has been doing football. He is an amazing kicker for his team, and is an amazing chess player. If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m very proud of them 😊I’vebeen realizing my time with them is running out and I make sure and continue being with them as much as I can, even though my oldest can drive himself, I’m still up every early morning for his cross country meets on Saturdays, I come home pick up my middle schooler and go spend the hot afternoons at his football games, I come home and work on homework. Time with your kids is precious, we have started taking annual cruises to spend pre ious time with them, we make sure every minute counts! Ladies, again sorry for the long post. Great job!

Good point. Don’t let anyone “mom shame” you for what works for your family ❤.

Yessss!!! Love that!! Your family is always the ultimate priority and what works for some doesn’t always work for others! 💙

100% for screen time. Adding autism to the equation, it actually helps my daughter and she is now trying to read to talk at 4 years old when she was technically “non-verbal” in her communication for so long! My judgment of other parents with screen time has gone out the window.

It's so true, you never know what other people's situation is. Yay for your little one! That is so amazing. Thank you for listening :)

I took my own pillow, blanket (because I’m always cold), my own underwear and pads. Although I used theirs until I went home. Whatever makes you comfy 🥰 overpacked for Lily for sure!

Hi ladies, loved todays episode! You guys did great! Bea I’m sorry about your experience, the medical system in many ways is broken. Your struggle with hypothyroidism started prior to getting pregnant and after my second child I was diagnosed with it. I’m struggling with it and I know of how evil sugar is and much more but I’m having a hard time right now as I’m working, I went back to school, and trying to be here for my family. I can’t get on board right now although I know it’s necessary. You both look great!

Thank you!! It means a lot! 💗It is super difficult! Hypothyroidism is no joke but giving up sugar in increments (challenges) has made such a difference in how I feel chasing my little one around. My legs don’t feel as swollen. You can message me (Bea) if you ever want to do a sugar challenge later down the road. Sending you a lot of love on your new school journey! Look at you go!! You never stop being a super mom! 🙌🏼❤

I traveled with Maverick at 3 months. I was so happy with our experience. I worn him and checked the carseat and stroller at the beginning. I wore him through the airport and on the plan. I recently traveled again with Maverick at 2.5 yo. It was a completely different experience but still good.

A whole different experience right?? Traveling with a toddler is not for the faint of heart!! 😅
@anadominguez44226 ай бұрын
Ladies, again good job! You girls look great! I traveled more with my oldest son when he was little, there’s always different experiences and a lot depends on your baby. My oldest in general has always been more calmed. I traveled with him to NY when he was 1 1/2, old, the airports were definitely crazy because of the amount of people. I traveled with him also at 2yrs. Roadtrip for 10 hrs just him and myself. That was very scary! Throughout all trips for both of my boys the important thing was to carry many snacks, changes of clothes, books, and noiseless toys so they don’t annoy others😅. My oldest has weird feet, he would trip a lot, was told to allow him to walk barefooted as much as possible but when needed shoes he used stride rite. Doctors discouraged buying Nike, etc. as they impede their little feet from forming properly.

Noiseless toys!! Yes! That was a huge concern for me too and I didn’t mention it but absolutely a thing! And I’ve never heard of Stride Rite! Thanks for sharing! Definitely looking into that brand!

I traveled at 3 months with Lily. Exclusively breast fed. In the way back I had milk to travel so the. All I did was freeze them and put them in an ice chest within my diaper bag. They just scanned it and didn’t bother the frozen milk.
