Afternoon Delight is a great example of 'humans' actually writing and playing instruments and using all 4 of their voices, I cant stand what this electronic era has come to, electronic beats, no guitars or bass, takes no creativity at all.

I was 16. Our family moved back to the US from Okinawa, flew back the Woodstock weekend. And 3 weeks later my father deployed to Vietnam for a year. So much happened that year. Time passes so quickly now!

I was 14 I had these songs heavy rotation on my radio. I had a killer system for 1980 I speakers headphones connecting extra long cord. It wasn’t a happier kid and Connecticut and I’ll tell you one thing. Olivia Newton-John was stunning stunning.

A-Ha had a lot of other hits. By the way , in this video , their lead singer with sunglasses performing live looks like Patrick Swayze.

I was 14 and going with my first husband in 1969. He didn't dance but he was a music lover. When we got married in 1976 we lived in a cheap little rent house but had a $3000 turntable and speakers - lol. Great memories!
