Currently on another run of tabbing out as many of these as I can. For the life of me, what are the first three chords in Pray for Eyes(35:32)?! 🙏🏼 I’m hearing C----2 G-1-4-3 D-0-3-1

Dude, Red Faction Armageddon had SO MUCH POTENTIAL!!! It still blows my mind that they didn’t go the opposite direction with the geomod technology, and extrapolate it to an even bigger, grander scale. Instead they went underground in cramped confines, lol 🤣 I know, I know, the success of Dead Space pretty much sealed that deal, but man I still dream of the incredible game we could have gotten following all of the amazing and just plain fun stuff they implemented in Guerrilla.

I'll definitely check it out anyway but yeah that's a bummer. I forgot how fun smashing buildings is in Guerilla!

Bro, huge fan. What string gauge you using with the D tuning? im assuming with that "gibson scale" on that ESP that you go thicker to make it sound brighter? also what pick make/size? I feel the pick/ string gauge combo is so important. just wonder what you go for as you play so fast.
@StomachEarth
@StomachEarth 5 ай бұрын
Thanks! I use 12-54 with a plain G. The thickness doesn't really affect the brightness but it does increase my string tension so the strings stay in place when I pick hard. I use the green Planet Waves picks - .88's

Мужикам привет ;) It's still one of the best albums in metal in general. Mega-riffing, readable and cheerful vocals, percussion lays so that "dear mom"! A faceted diamond in kind, Mike, thank you. It's a pity that something went wrong in 2009. I really hope that you will still find inspiration to do something as fierce, unstoppable, dense and integral as here in each track individually and as a whole, in the sense that in your 2007 there are no fake pieces or far-fetched melodies or transitions "if only", - musically, there is a canvas, a book, a movie epic. There are only a few such albums. These are flashes of comets that are still shining and fck1ng in a wheelbarrow. Thanks again and best wishes! Hello to the men ;)

I just wish it was much longer, haha. I replay this part over and over because I love this solo SO much. I wish I could have this on loop for like an hour. Beautifully dark. Hope you plan on releasing some more planet smashing doom! CHEERS!

Your playing style and tonal choices influenced almost everything about my own personal style while playing with numerous bands in Boise, ID from 2003-2010. I still blast the 4 Red Chord albums like they just came out yesterday. Your riffs are timeless, man. Please get the gang back together and write some of that emotionally turbulent tastiness again. The metal world desperately needs your music. \m/
