Was there during Helloween 2022 and it was insane. I knew they would eventually restrict drinking because it gets a bit out of hand haha. I think I´ll just pregame close to the restricted zones and take one of the last trains to Shinjuku, Shibuya etc before hitting the clubs.
@VIVIDvlog19 сағат бұрын
It was wild for sure! I agree to pregaming till the last train and head straight to a club, bar or karaoke 🎉

Coming from a country where drinking on the street isn't allowed, it's pretty easy to get around if you use your head.

great video @VIVIDvlog .... quick question. last year I was out there and I'll be returning again in a few months. I checked out Harlem in Shibuya. They really didn't play that gritty old school '90s boom bap hip-hop. Where can I go to find that?

I feel for Japan there are two types of foreign friendly. Those who can't speak Japanese and those who can.

how popular is hardstyle/ hard trance in japan? any specific hardstyle clubs to go to
@Yabanmf66629 күн бұрын
Hardstyle/Raw isn't super big in Japan. People only come out when the international artists come, which has been few and far between since the coof. That being said, there are parties most weekends but they are very small
@VIVIDvlog28 күн бұрын
Yup! Gotta keep a look out for organizers that bring those acts. Which is far and between, sometimes day time events at warp, sometimes sel octafon, sometimes random small venues.

Awesome video Vivid. Obviously in Japan speaking the language is absolutely crucial. How’s far will English take you in the DJ/club/nightlife scene compared to other aspects of Japanese society?
@VIVIDvlogАй бұрын
I find the Japanese that you need to know on the club scene isn’t much. It’s fairly simple, and you don’t haven’t to be overly polite. But being respectful, and not causing trouble goes a long way 😅

Thanks! Great question Ya the music you decide to play determines what clubs may book you. I suggest aiming at clubs that align with your music tastes. 🔥

In my opinion, I still like Zero Tokyo more. Although T2 has an amazing presentation with all the lights, visuals and scenery, I like Zero’s VIP/backstage area (main floor) more just because of how spacious it is and that you’re actually on the stage. This might come off a little bias, but I didn’t like the VIP as much in T2 because I always want to have a place to sit down and there was no where to sit unless you had your own table. Not to mention there are three floors (if I’m not mistaken). Each floor having something for everyone.
@VIVIDvlogАй бұрын
Ya I feel that, zero Tokyo is just absolutely insane. Too bad the music is random through the week and hard to recommend to casual clubbers. When we DJing there next tho? 🤭
