I don't go there anymore. When do, I avoid this ride. It breaks down all the time, because of the riders in line. Stupid message tells you 100 times an hour do not pull lap bar down. 90% of all riders do it anyway. Then get mad worker says something.

This will soon not be the only Hyper GTX. Chance is building another one this year named Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer at Mattel Adventure Park. Well only one side will be open since it's a racing coaster and the two sides are getting built but one side will open this year and the other will open next year. I'm glad to see Chance is building more of these coasters

No, most hook directly into the chain. How you see it in the video with the metal piece mounted to the chain and the car hooking onto that is only done by one manufacturer that I know of: Gerstlauer

No that's not correct. The hook is not attached to the chain on all non-vertical lift rollercoasters. The hook is attached underneath the front car of the train and hooks into the chain. That's why it doesn't need to wait before climbing the lift

This is essentially how they all work the clicking is a piece of metal clanking on the other as you can see....if the chain snaps or w.e else happens it's gets caught and doesn't roll all the way back

have you looked at most chain lifts? They're just simple chains, no hook on them. This has that hook which prevents rollback

@@belacickekl7579The hook attached to the chain doesn’t prevent a rollback. The hooks onto the car left and right from the chain which hook into the teeth on the track prevent rollbacks
