Can you offer guidance on including dual enrollment classes/grades. The high school is on semesters and college institution is on the college quarter system (different than high school quarters). Do students apply their college quarter grades in the appropriate semester?

I know this is not on topic but would life to know what role legacy plays with admission to a school like BU? My sons grandfather earned his is PhD there and went on to become a Dean of a department at U-Mass Boston. Also my son checks pretty much all the other boxes. Straight A at leading IB program, won State academic competitions, poetry published in the schools Literary nagazine, Varsity Golf, speaks at other schools about the importance of community service. On his own he contacted businesses seeking shadow days. To date he has had days with a VP of marketing with a large national company and President of a respected local company with others companies scheduled. However, my question is what role would legacy play with a school like BU for an otherwise qualified candidate?
