This house was in the series "Worlds most extraordinary homes"... the episode was epic. It shows more of the house and the design. You will understand why it looks like it does. I love this house.

That's definitely not Tucson. It's Mt. Lemmon and can be as far as an hour away depending on what side of Tucson you leave from.

I love Tucson! I moved here after retirement 3 1/2 years ago! And love it here! My. Lemmon, Tanque Verde to Redington pass to chiva falls! Is my santuary! Also driving through chimney rock! Tucson has a lot to offer! What I couldn’t do in Illinois! I do here in Tucson!👌🥰👍👉❤️

I've only been gone since April, and I'll be back in January, but I hate waiting. I want to be back. I didn't know how much I loved it until I left. I'm going back to my tanque verde home where the creek beds wind from the Ricons up above. And the clear moon shines on the desert that I love. I want to live and die in Arizona. I can't wait to watch those sunsets again. I can't wait to climb those mountain. I'm coming back home soon.

This little video is well done. I grew up in Tucson. My friend and I would go up to Catalina Mtn's late at night and take one of our ten-speed bikes. One of us would speed down kerranging while the truck would light the road in front of us. What a rush. We clocked between 32 and 46 mph. No helmets. Good times

Very cool. I miss my ol' hometown. I remember the beggar downtown in front of Walgreen's with a goiter the size of a football. The geezer bars where after you gave plasma the drafts would start at five cents and raise a nickel every ten minutes. You know who I'm talkin' about Granfalloon. And Speedway... Biker bars and stripper scars. The original Miricle Mile... with the "No-Tell Motel" and Ernie Menahoony LIVE down the hall at the Appaloosa Lounge. Good times. Peace on earth.

After living the bulk of my life in and around Tucson, I moved to the Texas Gulf Coast about 6 months ago. The plan is to stay down here for about 5 years and then move back to Tucson. From one extreme to the other, each has its beauty and advantages. Hands down, though, Tucson and all of Southern Arizona have some of the most stunning sunrises and sunsets.

To commenters who say that a green filter was used in editing this winter video, Stop and Look at the Ocotillos in this video, 2:12, just left of the corner of the roof >> they are fully leafed, which only happens after good rains, which in keeping with historical weather patterns, we naturally get in the week before Christmas, unless the weather pattern is disrupted. We see the evidence of good rains in this winter video. Further, golf courses are watered well, and even at 00:11, a discerning eye that knows our trees and can recognize fresh new leaves, can see many at this minute-mark, which, again, means recent rain and sunny, warmer temperatures. No green filter in editing was necessary. The next time we get good rains, pay close attention in the days that follow, and watch how the vegetation responds. :)

New Year's Day 2022, there's snow today on the upper Catalina Mountains, which means that Ski Valley on Mt. Lemmon has received snow. :) (1:30PM, the temp in the valley is 52, skies clearing after much rain.) Christmas Eve day 2021, current temp 61 at almost 2PM. It rained quietly during the night into the morning, in keeping with the historical weather patterns for the area, which was to rain all week in the lead up to Christmas Day, when the skies would clear to beautiful blue by midday, this being Tucson's natural weather pattern of 3 rainy seasons per year, pre-Christmas, Springtime showers, and Summer monsoon. Expected low tonight for Christmas Eve is 49, with an expected high tomorrow of 65 (which is a little low for the historical norm, which was 70-71), with scattered rainshowers possible later this afternoon and a little possible tomorrow. One nights' rain is hardly equal to an entire week's worth, so this rain is good to see, but naturally isn't sufficient. Clouds are veiling the upper Catalinas, and when the sky clears, we may see some snow up there. ~ For those that are interested to know, I've created a "Stargazing Arizona's Night Sky" playlist, which viewers might enjoy, and added the Tucson-region stargazing videos to my Tucson playlist, which is a subset of my much larger Arizona "grand tour" playlist. :)
