Such important lesson that helps so much in the long run. Thank you so much for this amazing video! While standing infront of an easel do you prefer to stand parallel to the canvas surface or a bit angular by turning your body slightly? Which feels more comfortable?

Hi Caleigh, can you tell me please the brand of your chair and where I can buy it online (the link you gave a few years ago no longer works.) Thank you! Your video helps me a lot. :)

I would love to do this in my living room. Do you have a list of paint colors you used? I can copy things, but I'm not great at figuring out how to do it on my own. I need a full tutorial. 😂

Can you tell me what brush cleaner solution you put in the jar? I think that is an excellent idea with the coiled wire in the jar.

Can you put photos in the resin?
@zaitoonnadeem39586 ай бұрын
Yeah. I made the same mistake. I poured resin on oil painting before it got dried up completely.

I thought you were going to go in another direction but you went deep. I love your insights! Also, you make painting hands look easy! They are definitely not easy. I used to teach toddlers and more often than not the patient kids who could pay attention longer than their classmates usually showed some natural art talents and grew up making art as a hobby .

Love the review, I learned a lot. Took me ages to figure out why coming from India would be "insensitive ". Most pigments named after a place are from before the age of exploration, so it didn't click right away that it's also the outdated name for indigenous North American peoples. Excited to try m graham. Your review tipped me over the edge and I'm going to try it. Thanks.

THANK YOU! Yes oil painting seems so difficult to figure out well before putting brush to canvas! Lol. I started out with oils and gave it up because of all the seemingly conflicting information out there. Was just too overwhelming. So thank you for your insight!! I may just be brave enough to pull the oil paints out once more!!!

I don't do much oil painting and I'm rather a beginner at it and you've got some very helpful tips. But I don't use any kind of turps, even the odorless kind. I use Gamblin's gel medium (it's made for oil painting) to thin or maybe Lindseed oil sometimes. To clean brushes, I use a soap that has a good degreaser or a brush soap made esp for brushes and most dishwashing liquid does. There are also citrus based cleaners that work well, but they are solvent based and not good to get on your skin, although I think there are some that may be safer. If my oil brushes get real gunky, I will on occasion use mineral spirits to clean them. But some people won't even paint with oils at all if they have to use strong chemicals, so it's good there are some safer choices these days.
