To most of you, this song recalls your teenage years. Maybe someone here is also like me, feeling like they missed them. I'm 16. I just turned 16. Yet I feel like I wasted those years. Not my childhood, oh no. It was a beautiful, really. I am not living the 'American dream', being popular in your highschool, friends who would never leave you, your first love. I never had it. My childhood was perfect, but after I turned 13, it all shattered. Now, I'm sitting in my room all day, wishing the people who I once called my bestfriends didn’t treat me that way. I never had my first love, either. And I wish I had it. To feel it, to have someone I truly love and feel comfortable with. I feel like all of these things are out of reach. I do love my country, Poland. But I can't help but wonder if anything would be different if I had a different family, if I was born in the US.
