I have many scattered throughout my content. Here is an old video showing my first tests with tape. Since then I have learned even more about engraving glass. NOT ALL GLASS IS CREATED EQUAL. The speed and power will vary depending on the quality of the glass. But the one thing that doesn't change is the tape is the quickest, simplest, and best outcome for engraving glass. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIeYm2Onndd0aqMsi=-FY6fPxByRHIXH8j

No way of knowing. But after that site went siren l down, I've gone back to making my own boxes. There are many ways you can do this. But I feel like the process I'm using at the time is one of the easiest and generates Lightburn friendly designs. I will be doing an octagonal box video today. Thanks for watching... stay tuned!

!!! I have experienced the same issue that Jack in the shop experienced. My experience was the x position was off by about 6mm. I have also on 2 occasions where Lightburn decided that my work bed changed to encompass the entire work area. You would select something for output and go to display. The display would show you every thin on and off the work bed. Lightburn can’t figure out what was going on. Odd thing was rebooting the computer didn’t fix the issue. I did get it cleared up both times, but I don’t really know what I did to clear it.

I have said it before and I will say it again... Lightburn is an awesome program, but it does occasionally have problems with Gremlins.

Hello, I just picked up a kiosk. For some reason I am getting clicking when it moves on the Y axis. Seems like the belt is a little loose. Any tips to tighten this up? Any help would be great
@HoboWithWood4 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, I am NOT technical much at all. IF I have had the same problem, I might could help someone experiencing the same problem. I have not had any problems with my Kiosk. Hopefully you have already figured out your problem and gotten it resolved. If I can ever be any help with designs... that's where I excel.
@kevinjensen98174 күн бұрын
@ thanks for the response. From what I could tell, the belt was to cold and wasn’t pliable. I brought it into the house to warm it up and it seems to be working the way I hoped it would. So far so good

Effortless Laser Cutting The removable base plate protects your work surface during the cutting process, and when removed, allows you to engrave larger items such as tables or chairs. Combined with the machine's built-in air assist for enhanced cutting precision, it ensures your creativity can flow freely and flawlessly. did you get a different version?
@HoboWithWood14 күн бұрын
With the material sitting on the metal plate, it does not provide effortless cutting. You need a honeycomb bed or at least space under the material to cut cleanly. If this is your only laser, you may not know better. I stand by my statements. I do STRONGLY recommend this laser for folks looking for a laser to use in craft shows or environments just to mark or engrave items. To increase productivity, you might consider buying two of them. But it is NOT a machine design for cutting as is.

@HoboWithWood21 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, I had an extremely bad experience with my xTool. It was my first laser and I had nothing but trouble and problems with it. It was a horrible experience and was nearly an end to "Hobo With Wood" before it even got started. Due to my personal experiences with the product and complete lack of customer support, I do not endorse their products at all. I leave those videos up as a cautionary tale.

Merry Christmas to you, too. People here are really going nuts about these "drones" in New Jersey. Both the Left and the Right political parties are throwing all kinds of conspiracy theories out there. The government simply keeps saying there is nothing to worry about, but they don't attempt to provide any explanation. I sincerely think it is nothing more than government-controlled distraction. It might be more believable if they haven't done things like this throughout history. And the point I was trying to make was "Fear not." Quit buying into their lies and distractions. It is sad when you can't trust half the things the "leaders" are telling us.

Thanks I was trying to carry the theme throughout. FEAR NOT. We do not need to be worried about anything coming from the sky. The only time anything coming from the sky we need to be prepared for will be proceeded by a blast from a trumpet. We need to be prepared; not scared. Merry Christmas!
