My childhood Mego Spidey has a dodgy knee - maybe they were going for "original look & feel"! Still a bit disappointing especially as they are limited edition but overall they look good.

I am very happy I own this set and I had Spider-Man when I was younger but I don’t know what happened to him and I never owned the Green Goblin or the Lizard and they never made Electro back then so that’s an added bonus for me along with the Spider-Man coin I never owned and I am looking forward to the next wave that’s comes out and it would be cool if it’s the Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor but who knows what the next 4 pack will be.

I had the set of these, getter,mazinga, and radeen. But gave them away because there's no joints. The static engineering drove me crazy. Like the plastic and scale though 😂❤

stop the gaslighting, its the same old with a few reworks that should be on ALL of their spiderman figures plus the accessories on top of that, this maximum series is about to open doors of new collectors to get into imports because they will be that same price, better quality and more if not better accessories. THIS is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $50. NOT EVEN MORE THAN $40

so in theory at 50 bucks you could get a used retro spider man with only two sets of hands and pinned joints or this plus looking at other characters its a decent price HOWEVER i dont think half the audience will spend that much. i would say if the figure has smooth articulation i would put it at 50 bucks but if its stiff and has soft plastic at the bicep and ankle its not worth it. i think 40 bucks is pretty fair so fingers crossed.🤞

The marvel legends female figures don't have good articulations, they are almost a moving statue.

$39.99, which could be £39.99 in The King's Money. I think they will be taking notes from the GI Joe pricing, where they introduced $35 deluxe figures. As you said though - why hasn't pricing been announced? The market research should have been done, to identify the price point gaps, and not rely on polls to see how much they can get away with.

I’ve been collecting for 10 years now and have been selling on eBay for about 20 years. I can’t start to tell you how many times the post office or ups etc drops the ball and I get messages from grown men wining about why they haven’t gotten their toys yet. This isn’t a shot at you believe me you have the right to email and ask questions but all we can do is drop it off at the post office or ups etc. I’ve even stopped dropping off multiple packages at a time and just leaving it with the mail guy I now wait in line and have them scan each one in front of me and get a receipt. It’s happens countless times where I ship something that’s priority and it goes in the opposite direction and there’s nothing I can do about it but no I can say you see I dropped it off right it’s outta my hands lol.

Definitely not the quality of a 200 dollar fig. Just found out about these and was considering purchasing one on ebay but most of the reviews I've seem negative. Very disappointing because it looks good.

I hate to say this, but I'm buying this no matter what. And if i don't like it, I'll keep the webs and sell the figure and get some of the money back

$60 would make me pause. I’d buy it. Sure they are “competing” with Mafex/SHF as they are selling highly articulated Spider-Man figures with more accessories than current $25-30 figures. I think the “Maximum” is there to evoke value to the purchaser. As of late the value of Hasbro product which isn’t their own brand is in question. They aren’t looking to compete with price point. $80-100 is for import to say they belong. Hasbro plastic as you shared is much stronger. I have Mafex comic Spider-Man and I’m careful in hand swapping and working with accessories. They’ll break. They want to appeal to those who want to tell stories with their figures, specifically pics shared online. Some collectors only want representation while others want versatility in display or conveying narrative through pics. Maximum hopes to deliver value to the story tellers.

As much as I want this figure, I'd personally have a hard time paying more than say 39.99 for it. Stay tuned...
