Hi @ooikaisheng3500, the workflow will merge the shared column from all sheets into a single one. For instance, all Excel sheets demonstrated in the video feature a shared column titled "Name," and the resulting output file consolidates data from all "Name" columns into one.

Hi @@ooikaisheng3500, in this case, instead of merging the data tables, you might wanna use another activity called Join Data Tables. This activity will allow you to join the data tables using the common column. You can also specify the join type you want. Hope this helps :)

Hi, you can put the path of the folder in front of the file name in the Excel Application scope e.g. "C:\Users\Documents" + item.toString + ".xlsx"

Hey Michelle, how do i take certain values from an Excel file and have them written in a specific cell in another Excel file using Uipath? Lets say we want to take values under a column from the first Excel and write the sum of the numbers in that column in the second Excel at a desired location under a specific column.

Hi Efe, you can assign that certain value e.g. the sum of numbers in a variable and then use write cell activity to write the value in the specified excel cell or range. I'll have a similar use case for the next video. Stay tune :)

In Read range activity, make sure UseFilter property is unchecked. It's unchecked by default, so the filter wont be applied. If you want to use Ctrl+Shft+L, you can try HotKey or invoking VBA

Hi Ceekay, you need a different activity e.g. copy/paste range instead of write range if you want to keep formula or cell format. Hi Thi, the if condition is just to initialise the data table dtMain only if it is empty. We only need to initialise the data table once. In this example we initialise by cloning the data structure of first sheet.

Hi Sherlin, I'm glad that you found the video informative. To get just a single sheet from the workbook, you can either use the Get Workbook Sheet activity (to get single sheet) or add a If statement within the For Each item loop e.g. If item.ToString.Contains("File2") to check if sheet name contains File2. If the condition is satisfied, then read range and write the data into new file. You can update the filename to the specific sheetname you want. Hope this helps.
