anyone who was any sort of decent player in WoW just bought the ore and did the same, or the farmed the ore themselves since the spawn points were always the same, you jsut had to make loops. Not sure who he's talking about that bought that many gems. No one in guilds that raided ever need to BUY gems. LOL

First you need to find out the volume incoming by knowing your reset extractor timeframe... then you know the incoming volume per cycle... then you know how many base factories to use. Are you ona plasma planet? The resource spot doesnt even move if you are doing it right. You should know the highest jita value first so you even know what to extract if ISK is the only goal. If isk isnt the only thing that matters... each system is designed to produce a particular product by its available rare resource. all if this assumes you are in nullsec or a WH while owning the Poco. Taxes will inhibit you from going above t2 for any reason other than weight savings. You know.. you can also buy cheap mats and simply produce higher tiers while using no grid for extractors. If it is your first time.... Just learn by doing to right thing. Resetting extractors and hauling time is the most relevant factor imo.

Gw2 is horizontal progression, "Ascended gear" obtained several years ago is just as relevant now infact its the "best" gear stats wise the next gear upgrade is just Quality of life bonuses no actual stat gain

Cheating in Eve is rampant tho. I mean, how many multi-boxers do you see warping around? Doing mining etc. What difference is there in being able to gain a unfair advantage like increasing your stats or making your weapons shoot from 500km away, or being able to warp in 5 ships on location at the same time from a single person.

Gold has pretty much no value these days in regards to ingame consumeables etc. You can completely ignore professions and enchant/gem out your shit with your passive gold income from doing regular content. But yeah, I know someone that quit the game in WotlK and would bot his character to fly around Icecrown and mine, then sell it on the AH once he came back from work. He then sold the gold directly to chinese gold farmers. He paid his monthly rent doing that. Can't do that anyone now that WoW Tokens have pretty much put gold famers out of business on retail servers, and gold being easy to get

This is a big brain play? Mate, you forgot to offload your saronite to flood the market to buy it throughout the week at rock bottom prices, and then buy it all up to cause a weekly surge. I made more with less work by manipulating the AH.

I do the same thing with consumables buy them when they’re low on the weekends and then sell them Tuesdays and Wednesdays when everyone is raiding. My guild raids on the weekends, so I don’t get the gouged prices

If your were new and didn't buy gold to start with you would go broke on the server I was on. We had divided up the market and were sitting on a ton of gold. A new party would be undercut at the AH and overbid with the miners. We would sell at or below cost until you went away sitting on ores that would take you ages to sell while you had already spent your money. Then again, we were all Eve players before, so maybe your point stands.

I did this too in WoW... then I got warned for Monopolizing the AH

Set it to 1day 23hr 30 mins and you'll see the cycle time goes from 1hr to 30 mins compared to 2 days, so even resetting your stuff towards end of cycle hurts alot less
