I got qouted 600 not included vat for oem drive shaft. and garage says put aftermarket one on the car when i asked them to rebuild my drive shaft boot .. Am i right in saying i will run into issues with aftermarket parts as the balance could be off at and also they aint as good with performance cars ? Tia

This video is good only if the easiest job to be done - remowing old belt and installing new. Now somebody explain, how to install new belt if old belt was broken while driwing? Presumably all the damage is fixed, so just the installing belt part.

I am doing this on a 2006 audi a4 2.0l tdi 103kW as have I broke the metal oil seal case with the locking tool an impact wrench trying to remove the crank bolt. Can you advise me of any difference's on the earlier Audi BLB engine and if do you know of another way to lock out the crank to remove the crank bolt . Thanks

Hi what would happen if the crank did a extra turn? I have a feeling someone that did it on mine took the belt of but did a extra turn on the crank pulley. Obviously the crank is pinned and cam is pinned also fuel is within its hole. Car seems to be running weird like a weird exhaust sound like a missfire I thought maybe it's the fuel injection pump that's not timed but it is not out as all pins line up. Was told the crank may of had a extra turn but wouldn't make a difference. Car runs ok but just weird noise like a fueling burbling noise exhaust or engine when driving

if its only a a tiny leak of oil and fuel. do you still recommend opening the internals to do all the little bits or would the outer main gaskets be enough.. no other fuelling issues with pressure etc

Hi, slightly off topic but same engine question.Have you come across the common problem of VW/AUDI 1.6 TDI common rail engine tick and rough idling when cold first start? I have performed VCDS full scan but no faults stored.This would appear to be ECU injector control related. Do you have any guidance or experience on how to solve this annoying issue.

Ex Ford tech from mid 2000’s here now expert transit wet belt and vac pump failure specialist 😂 Do loads of them now. Having major problems with the cranks on the Vauxhall Vivaro 1.5 diesel too. I’m hoping Ford don’t change back to chains 😂😂

on my 2011 honda accord i was messing about with my relays a little as i was suspecting one of them was faulty, i unplugged a 20 fuse amp with the engine check light symbol on it and swapped it with another, the pgmfi symbol started showing up on the dash when i flipped then back it was still showing up? any idea what i’ve done wrong and how to fix it?
