The bands met at Aftershock Festival in 2022. Band-Maid invited The Warning to Japan. During the visit they recorded the track, shot the music video and put on a co-headline show in Tokyo ending with both bands coming on stage together to perform this song live. The door has been left open for Band-Maid to visit Mexico for a 2nd collaboration in the future! Highly recommend checking out The Warning's original music, equally fantastic ⚡

One band I turn to whenever I need a chuckle and a smile, is a band that I doubt either of you two have heard. It is somewhat of an acquired taste, but their music grows more hilarious with every listen. The band is called Killdozer, and normally I would also recommend some songs to give a listen to, and likely drop one or two links to their videos right here in this comment, but this is the first video I have seen on this channel, so I know practically nothing about you guys, so I would not know which songs to recommend. If you're curious enough to check them out, then it will be your choice, and/or up to the universe, depending on your perspective of life. Regardless, if you search for their songs on YT, you will want to search for "Killdozer band". Otherwise, you will get a bunch of results for the Killdozer incident in Colorado in 2004, but take note that Killdozer did not acquire their name from that incident, for they were formed in 1983 in Madison, Wisconsin. They actually took their name from the 1974 TV movie, directed by Jerry London, itself based on a Theodore Sturgeon short story. They released their first album, "Intellectuals are the Shoeshine Boys of the Ruling Elite", in 1983. They would eventually split up in 1996. Their farewell tour was officially titled "F[_]ck You, We Quit!" From Wikipedia: "Killdozer was notable for its slow, grinding song structures and blackly humorous lyrics, growled ominously by singer/guitarist Michael Gerald at the top of his lungs. Many of their songs were disturbing narratives of small-town life gone awry, and later had a jaded, left-wing political perspective. Killdozer is regarded by many to have helped set the foundation for grunge music, despite that genre's association with the city of Seattle." "The band also became famous for its cover songs, an example being Don McLean's "American Pie". A version exists on their 1989 all-covers album "For Ladies Only". Gerald also did a cover of Jessi Colter's "I'm Not Lisa" for the band's 1986 EP "Burl", dedicated "in loving memory of" the then-living Burl Ives. The EP in its entirety can be found on the CD version of their 1994 album "Uncompromising War on Art Under the Dictatorship of the Proletariat."

Trust him, you do want to go to a GWAR show!!! Although, I haven't seen them perform with the new singer, so I can't speak to that, but I'm sure they still manage to put on one hell of a show. My first GWAR show was in Chicago while I was in college, and I rode the L back to campus by myself, through the projects, covered in blood, slime, cum, and who knows what else. An older gentleman eventually would ask me where I was going looking like that, I informed him I was actually returning from my going, unless you want to look at this as returning home, back to campus, but I was just heading home from attending a concert. He paused momentarily, and then presented a follow up question, "You guys do dis at every show???" You want to go to a GWAR concert, even if you don't think you can appreciate their music, go for the show they put on, go for the experience, go to say that you went. Stop living in self-constructed, self-damaging bubble, and get out there and live a little, it's not as if someone is asking you to shoot smack. We have nothing to fear, but fear itself. Start saying 'YES' to life, and discovering all it has to offer, because as another song of some weird, scary band taught me: The funny thing about regret is that it's better to regret something you have done, than to regret something you haven't done. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqjOn3mApc-fb8k

Best music video ever made! So much early internet nostalgia! There were alot of these former viral stars thatbdidnt want to be in the video because they thought it was going to be exploiting them , once they actually talked to the band and realized they wanted to make a video celebrating these early viral stars rather than make fun , they signed on and created this fucking masterpiece .

AHEM! Here to help! Chaoseum is a Swiss nu-metal/metalcore band. The singer always has the painted joke smile and dreads. They are heavily influenced by old early 2000's nu-metal, so you can hear influences from Korn, Orgy, Taproot, Rob Zombie, Slipknot, etc. I've become obsessed because this is the music I grew up listening to. They've only been around for about 5 years, so in terms of band-age they are pretty new. There are Korn influences in other songs too, but this one was an homage to Korn. But that isn't necessarily obvious, should look at the comment section of that video lol. I'd 100% recommend the deep dive into their catalogue, specifically "Dance on My Grave", "Stick Under My Skin", and "My Wonderland". These guys are bringing nu-metal back and I'm here for it lol

Tate's brother plays hockey which is more than likely where she got really into it. She is also Canadian so it's like a really big part of their culture. It is also quite ironic because her ex who cheated on her is a hockey player!!! Tate is also a dancer and super super known in the dance world that is why she dances so much in her songs lol If you guys want to hear her "highs" in singing 100% listen to "Calgary" but listen to her live version rather than the studio version.

Shame barely anyone noticed this. One of the few reaction videos where I ever bought into the enthusiasm of those reacting. And the cover itself is a true banger. Massively overlooked IMO at only something like 2.2 million views in 2 years. Norah Jones cover of "Let it be" is all kinds of awesome. You will find numerous other covers of it which probably have more views [Like that Bristol street performance one at 15 million, seriously?] But I have a feeling Norah totally smash's all of those. [I mean, IMO she's a better vocalist than McCartney has ever been, sure, I said it and stand by it]

About the pyro, artists know the dangers, Su-metal for example went to see Rammstein perform live and she said: Rammstein is even more on time and choreographed than Babymetal, because of the pyro. You need to be in the right place at the right time always.

Agree reaction to everyone they do together it never gets old 👍 the person directing the cameras needs sacking . They showed the back of stage and audince most of the time when Su was singing and missed MoMo growling and a lot of interaction with EC and BM that made it so fun . Ps it's a 50 50 collab not a FT 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
@TheHomelessDreamer15 күн бұрын
The song is indeed a 50/50 collaboration but the term: "featuring" has a different meaning when applied to live performances. If a collaboration is performed live by both bands, on stage, it is one band's set and the other is considered the featured act.
