James Brown's band members like Fred. Clyde Stubblefield, and Bootsy Collins are legends of funk and a sound that underwrote an entire era after they were in their prime due to sampling in rap, hip-hop that they could have never imagined. Fred did for the trombone what Maynard Ferguson did for the trumpet in Rocky's "Gonna Fly Now." Thanks for not editing out the ending of the recording session!
