Can you provide a response describing the sound output, and also call quality (you hearing the person, and the person hearing you)? Was the sound output similar to or better than the factory head unit? Thanks for any input.

The sound output is definitely better than the stock head unit! I can also hear the calls very well, however, I mounted the mic in the passenger side floor well so others can’t hear me too well.

My truck only had an Aux input from the factory, but I never used it because I had a bluetooth FM transmitter (if I find a cord I will let you know!). The stereo did have a place to plug a mic into that back of it, but I’m not sure if it’s the same.

I have 2 of the 8 inch ones by Rockville, and they're pretty damn good. I got them for $99 each But now I'm in the market for some regular subs for my trunk area. I drive an 04 Honda CRV.

Installed this on my 2014 Subaru Impreza 2 years ago and this head unit is surprisingly well balanced and built. I use a Samsung but I have also used apple devices on it wirelessly. For me, the response time is pretty damn quick using android auto. If you also are looking to upgrade the speakers, the back inputs make it super easy to install amps and subs.

everywhere says you need a adapter for wireless carplay. i just bought this havent installed it yet. but was gunna take it back because everywhere ive looked says its not wireless carplay. im confused now.

Mine did not require an adapter for Carplay. When I was looking for one on the website, I put the “CarPlay (Wireless)” filter on which is how I found it.

Back when we filmed this we didn’t know it was worn until after the video was posted. Also, we didn’t do the Jeep trails because it was a daily.

There is a KZbinr out of Kansas, who clears up, sells farm equipment, trucks, odds and ends... name escapes me for now. BUT he comes across Vehicles all the time and Kansas are farms seem to be Willy's Truck-land... just a possible source. (Found it - ADVENTURES MADE FROM SCRATCH)

Love my X3! Feels like driving a sports car! Sadly, she suffered several issues with the cooling system and may need a head gasket:/ (got her like that) but hopefully I will have more time this summer to fix it! Also have other project cars to do🥲

Nice truck! it appears to be in great shape. it looks just like my cousin's Ram Sport that he bought brand new. His has the 5.9 and 2wd. I have a 1998 Dodge Ram SS/T that I bought new. I used to have a 1997 Cummins dually. I love these 2nd generation Dodge Rams.

Is this xDrive? It looked like a standard rear wheel drive. I didn't see any engagement of the 4x4 anywhere when it got stuck on rough terrain

It is but in the transfer case there is an actuator gear and they usually get worn out, especially with higher mileage. So I noticed it does work, but it will slip and not drive the four wheels under alot of stress. I have seen videos and they’re not hard to replace so hopefully this summer!

@@sammyquick793 Have an e53 with the same actuator, mine was worn and it gets worse gas mileage, slower and awd is no where near as effective in the snow or when I went camping. But this was 2 years ago, super easy to fix and inexpensive. Also I recommend turning dsc off for fixed power delivery to the wheels, transfer case behaves differently, it’s pretty much a true 4x4 system when it’s off.
