I lived in a village a few miles away Always in St Ives though A beautiful town I remember a takeaway called Ketch 22 and a great place to live A friend of mine he’s parents run the Golden Lion Hotel and as a school kid I have actually sat on the Lion being an idiot Eric Morecambe used to own the hotel along with the Tudor Hotel

The situation was not very funny. It can be seen that it was filmed by tourists who have no relation to this beautiful country. They lack the Slavic soul.

@@travellingeverard4326 not at all. only the second j should be pronounced like the first j. but if you don't pronounce the j, then it sounds very local.

We had lovely holidays in Jaywick Sands late 1950s ! Chalets were built upon brick piers ! Avenues were named after motor car manufacturers of that period of time, we stayed in Sunbeam Avenue! I used to find all sorts of things like musket balls, fishing weights , fossils, etc when the tide went out, as well as plenty of coins like half crowns, two bob bits, pennies etc, so had plenty of pocket money! Loved it there!

I've been there. My wife is Polish; from Katowice, but the last time we went, we went to Hel, in Władysławowo, stopped off at Gdansk for a while on the way up.

Hi Marhier, thank you for taking the time to watch my video. We really loved Gdansk and will be heading back next year. I will be uploading another video shortly, showing the old town and all the main sites. When we were in Sopot, i saw that boats were going to Hel, so may do that next time. Your wife is very lucky to come from Katowice, i've heard good things about the place.
@marhier Жыл бұрын
@travellingeverard4326 She's actually from Bytom, which is a 25 min bus ride away from Katowice - so not as nice as Katowice 🤣 Funny though, as its a small town, whenever I'm there and they hear someone speaking English, heads turn thinking _"wtf is an English person doing here!?"_
