We are going next week and my kids are exactly the ages of your kids. Did you do the ATV, camel, pyramids, sphinx and the museum on the same day? I’m wondering if that will be possible for the kids in one stretch on the same day . Thanks

Thats awesome you and your family get to visit Egypt. The museum visit was for 3-4 hours. The pyramids and Sphinx were on the same tour which was approx 4-5 hrs long. The ATV was separate and lasted 1-2 hours. We had them on different days as we travelled from the US and needed down time to get over jet lag. We would recommend going on different days especially since you have kids. We visited in 2021 during COVID and the sites had few tourists. I can expect that the number of tourists will have increased from back then. Pls also take some electrolytes with you for hydration. Enjoy your trip and let us know how your adventures go. Thanks.

Hey there. Our kids were 11 and 9 when we went on this trip. You can ask for a lesser powered ATV for your 11 yr old. As long as he has the physicality to maneuver the ATV he should be fine. Have fun out there.

The Nile originate in Ethiopia, not Sudan. Hat Sep Sut was not the only female on the Pharaoh's throne. Some other female Pharaoh ruled also the ancient Egypt, like Cleopatra the VII. from the Ptolemaic dynasty.

Hi there and thanks for stopping by and your comment. My research shows that there are 2 rivers, the Blue Nile and White Nile, that form the Nile. The Blue Nile does start from Ethiopia and the White Nile from Uganda. They both meet in Sudan and flow upwards to Egypt. And you are correct, Pharaoh Hatshepsut was not the only female Pharaoh. Her temple was the only female one we visited on our trip. Thanks for stopping by and pls check out our other videos. Thanks

I did a cruise on the Disney Wonder back in October and on the DCL app I always saw listings for 18+ pub trivia, animation classes and the like in the Adult Only areas of the ship.

Angela, thats definitely good to know. We were on the Disney Dream in 2022 and maybe it could have been that they were no adult shows due to COVID related challenges or they just didn't have them on that particular ship. Its nice to hear that they do have some on the Wonder. We may have to go on a cruise on that ship and do a part 2 to this video. Thanks for viewing and if you haven't pls subscribe. We have some more fun videos coming out soon. Thanks again.

Great video. Very informative. The only cruiseIine 've ever been on is Disney. I've heard that with other cruiseships everyone has to pass through the casino which usually have smoking. Is that the same for Norwegian?
@theadventuretravelfamily7957
@theadventuretravelfamily7957 Жыл бұрын
Hey Hope. Norwegian has their Casino's in a location on board that is quite isolated from the other floors. Their Casino's were on the higher floor onboard and tucked in a remote area. The Casino area has a lot of high efficiency and quiet smoke removing ducts that remove any cigar smoke but you still have that lingering cigar smell in the air. From our experience we did not mandatorily have to walk through the Casino areas because of where they were located.

Hey there. Disney does have a lot of fun entertainment options for the family. We found their options catered to the entire family compared to Norwegian which has some entertainment options that were strictly for adults. Thanks again and let us know if this video maybe helped you with which Cruise line to check out.

We'll add that even through Norwegian had activities for adults, they offered clean versions that kids could enjoy. For example, they had Comics in their comedy clubs who offered both adults and kid friendly shows.

Hi, the hotel you stayed in Luxor- I am looking to book the hotel, but I can't find a room that will accommodate my 8-year-old daughter, like two queen-sized beds. Did you request an extra roll-out bed for the kids? Was there a cost associated with the additional bed if yes?

Hello there, we stayed in a Family Guest Room with interconnecting rooms. The Adult room had a King bed and the kids room had 2 twin size beds. Why does everyone want to focus on the marina and boats????? Who the F cares about the boats?
@theadventuretravelfamily7957
@theadventuretravelfamily7957 2 жыл бұрын
The boats at the Marina were the easiest to access for the public. The majorly affected homes on the barrier islands were challenging to reach as the only accessible bridge was impacted by the storm. Plus most of these boats were boathouses meaning people live in them like they do regular houses. We do plan to revisit the area once the roads or a way to reach them is established.

Before the storm someone from Florida made a comment about Texas being wimps; I hope that person realizes now just how much damage water does. The wind damage alone is nothing compared to the destruction water causes. We still have some areas in SE TX that haven't fully recovered from Harvey so I send my thoughts and prayers to Florida- it's a long road to recovery.
@theadventuretravelfamily7957
@theadventuretravelfamily7957 2 жыл бұрын
It is a long road to recovery and many doubt that area will be the same afterwards. I think there will be changes to how they build as some of those barrier islands served a purpose in protecting the main lands but people built on them. My prayers for any hurricane affected area as the combination of wind and rain as you mentioned can be devastating.
