Was hoping for more info on the build itself. How often were the directions wrong? How many parts were mislabeled? Did you ever have to call or e-mail them? How many parts did you have to modify to fit?

I'm just back from a week at the Grand. Unfortunately, I had 7 days of monsoon rainfall with only a few random hours of sun. We were barely able to enjoy the pools or beach. I found the food at the restaurants to be ok at best. There were many roof leaks, so they had buckets and absorbent pads everywhere. The free shows were not particularly impressive except for maybe the fire show. I would not call the alcohol anywhere near top shelf either. Yes, they are American brands, but $35 bottles. No way I would go back. I also didn't appreciate the multiple time share pitches they pushed. If this is the best all-inclusive around, that's sad. I found Secrets Wild Orchid in Jamaica to be much better.

Oh la la. Lefty city slickers crying and caterwauling about how farming actually requires ... being farmers. 🙄 No matter how much the bar is lowered, they're still, somehow ... "victims." How to deal with a non-existent tale of torment and woe ... well, of course, go on social media and tattle on the company that pre-fabricated perhaps the most elaborate chicken coup in the history of humanity. "OMG, there were so many nails." For God's sake, who in their right mind would drop thousands (many thousands) of dollars for a "designer chicken coup" for a dozen chickens ... it would take a hundred years (if not a thousand) just to recover the upfront cost. Taking my test Wednesday. Not worried about it as I’ve been in manned aviation since 1980 and got my private license in 1996 out of Andrews AFB. The charts and weather are easy to me. Just had to learn the drone regs and some of the stupid government ideas like “hazardous attitudes”, whether it’s risk management of CRM for a given wording in a question. Just peeves me that an ultralight manned aircraft at over 300 pounds in the air requires NO license, NO training, and NO test…… but a tiny quad copter requires a license and a $175 test if you want to post a monetized video. It’s nothing but a barrier to entry in an attempt to keep people out of the air so Bezos, WalMart, and their ilk can put their stupid delivery drones up there

The next time I do it, I’ll add 1/2 a portion more to the ingredients except the pink Prague stuff. I find at 7 lbs it could have used more. Maybe I’m not that good with spreading it. The Prague powder needs to be very precise or it'll ruin the flavor of the meat. make sure you follow the exact formula (based on the weight after the trim). Keep me posted on how it turns out!

Very informative video. I too am excited to get chickens after my better half (Borat voice: my wife!) agreed to it. We have been researching and looking at Carolina Coops for a couple of years now. We will be in the market to purchase a house this spring/ early summer 2024. After the home purchase and I've scoped out a good space, we'll make our purchase with the time frame for delivery factored in. We think we'll see if CC would install/ build the coop onsite (in Maryland). We're budgeting for that possibility.

The Maya steakhouse beats Toni's by a huge margin. Two words why Prime Rib. IB* has become weird lately. If an item is not on the menu, room service nor ala carters they will NOT prepare it anymore. I didn't like the Italian except the Beef Carpaccio, The lobster was so badly overcooked it tasted like rubber. Mexican for dinner is meh as all Mexican ala cartes at every resort I have vacationed at. At Toni's they don't tell you that you can pick the exact steak you want you only have to ask. Japanese ala carte is very good, teppanyaki is very bad. Overcooked and flavorless. As a sake drinker the sake at resorts is low end swill. Barcelo Riviera AO Japanese has an extensive sake list of very good sake's. I LOVED the buffet for all three meals. Smallish lobsters that are warm water Chilean and they used cheapo snow crab legs. The Grand should have had King Crab legs instead. The carving station look out of this world. Baked bone marrow is yummy if done correctly.

Thanks for the video. The showers at the Maya have never fluctuated on temp ever, during my 20+ trips there. Outlets are the way they are IB* will not be spending the funds to rewire the villas let alone the entire resort. Bringing power strips has been a known issue forever. Villa bicycles are in need of regular maintenance. IMHO food now is lacking in the number of choices, quality of ingredients and overall presentation. In 2010 the food was so much better. Most resorts over-reacted to COVID and cutback on food choices and quality way too much. The house wines are undrinkable/nasty. Get rid of the paid shows and put the nightly entertainment back in the theater.

Thanks for watching!! The reservation situation hasn’t changed and depending on how full the resort is, reservations can be a challenge, especially for the French restaurant. There’s unfortunately not much you can do about this. You could always plan on going to the buffet but check into the French restaurant first to see if they have any cancelations. The Japanese is typically good for same day walkups. As for external activités, we’ve honestly never done one. It just seems to add stress and there’s very little my wife and I haven’t already seen or done. We spoke to another guest who told us they did a private tour to Tulum and wished they hadn’t. Mexico for us, is just to relax. Maybe eventually we’ll do something, but we just haven’t felt the need. Yet.

Thank you for taking us on your trip! We enjoyed the sights, the markets, towns, the river and beautiful countryside views and your music selection. We'll check out video Part two.

Alain and Andrea have to be the most honest reviews I’ve ever had…..I mean Toby is cool too…They highlight the best moments and shed light on the less best moments….its an amazing place! The level of staff is amazing. This staff has to be promoted to be at the grand and they have to prove they can handle a diamond member before they are on site.

Ahh. Thank you!! The place is amazing but it’s the people that make it special.

I found your channel while looking for information on the Grand Paraiso because we’re going there next month and I have been enjoying all your videos. I don’t usually comment but I had to when I realized that Andrea and I share the same birthday and I rarely find someone with a birthday on January 2. You’re 4 years younger so there’s no chance we’re twins separated at birth 🤣 Thank you for sharing your vacation with us 🤗
