Just bought one of these M206s. I checked it out at the store because an M200 I bought had to be returned because of really bad timing. The M206 was fine until I dry-fired it once and the cylinder locked up and the trigger wouldn't function to move the hammer. It went back to Armscor, too. Another M200 I bought shoots low and left more than 4" at 5 yards. I used a laser sighting module to check it out. I'm glad I never actually tried to shoot any of the three junk heaps.

Its a great piece of hardware . The first time I took it to the range it performed perfect and being a 38 snub the recoil was manageable and getting follow up shots was effortless . Its not pretty nor has a pedigree but for 250 I would put my life with this gun . Great carry piece and house gun. .

Hi I wanted to ask 2 questions.1 is a good revolver ? 2 Plastic grip fits well when revolver?
@2ndareviews5 Жыл бұрын
In my opinion it's a decent revolver especially for the price. And I think the rubber grips are much better than the wood. Thanks for watching.

The trigger pull on it is great as far as I'm concerned. Just bought a spurless one for my wife, and if she can pull the trigger on it, anyone can. Long story short, we love the little revolver.

Shot my new RIA M206 today and really liked the way it shot. the only issue was the trigger locking back which reset when I pressed it. Fed three types of ammo, low recoil and was very accurate.

I like mine, now. They had done an incredibly bad grind on the cylinder latch, so that the bottom of the latch stuck out and hung up on the next round coming around. Once I filed that edge off it works great. In the mean time I had taken it apart twice trying to figure out what was going on. Luckily I didn't screw up anything. $228 out the door. The trigger is very good on it. Easily better than a Ruger and better than half the Smiths. A very good utilitarian revolver, if you get a good one or don't mind tinkering.

Love my M206. But I did purchase some Colt Detective grips. Better than the hard grips that comes with it. It shoots great. Great feeling gun. Good video. Looks just like mine with the heavy grips on. I purchased the speed loader also. Paint the top of the front site.

I was trying to buy the taurus th40 when covid-19 started for $250 at the gun show but I got delayed so I had to wait and then they closed down the gun show's so I had to buy a gun at a gun store and all the guns were over priced so I bought a Bersa tpr9c for $436.00 dollar's I love it but I just feel like I paid to much for it. I wunna buy the Th40c or the Th9c for my wife. They come's with alot extra's for the price.

Those Anderson lower build kits are trash, I put one on my build and had to remove it because it would constantly fire double or triple taps, I saw a video on you tube explaining that the hook on the hammer were not cut precisely and it was causing that failure, I ordered an upgraded trigger group in nickel boron from palmetto state armory (psa)for $29.95 about a year ago and works great with a trigger pull of about 5pounds with the jp enterprises enhanced spring kit ($12.00), check it out it’s worth your safety!

I purchased the Subby version.38 ,absolutely a amazing fire arm out of the box ,the only difference is finish and a small size differential[a little larger] and not quite as tight as My 1974 originalColt Detective on cylinder play, but locks up well and each cylinder is dead nuts center ,like the firing pin contact on first 45 casings of the rounds I checked after firing ,sighting was amazing at 5yds,thru 15 yds.. I had all but 7 of the 45 rounds half in the head and the rest dead center in the chest cavity.. I was concerned about carrying my original Colt Detective Sp. the value has sky rocketed, but I have absolutely found the next best thing..Cost out the door $220,,Rural King..Great instructional Video. Professionally done....Big reason I bought the RIA .38 and took a look at it....You were exactly correct about this firearm. Thank You Mr. Hickok,as you say life is good.

I just purchased my taurus th9c in OD green from my local pawn shop (the only place i could find one 😆) for $250, im hoping the last owner took care of it. How many rounds do you have through yours so far and have you had any failure to feed/eject or any light strikes on the primer?
@jeffreymorris30025 жыл бұрын
Darren Vogel light primer strikes aren’t something you should be worried about unless using old ammunition or reloads

Mine when firing single action does not always fire the second round. No idea why. It will second time around. It's my carry right now so I don't worry about it. I think I will change the grips out. I like the classic look of the wood but it is a bit too small.

It's funny how these guys on KZbin always talk about a gun that's good for a glove compartment or tackle box lmao bro if that's why u have the gun then just give it to someone who has the balls to carry and shoot it. It's clear u do not live in an area where crime does occur witch is good but if that's the case don't give out reviews of any gun if u trying to put it in a tackle box lmao
