All looks so good! I’ve not seen the Yorkshire pudding in a baking pan, but in a muffin tin, for individual servings. I really like the song too!

Ohhh wow that looks amazing! My grandma was British and I’m pretty sure she made this pudding as well! The last meal she cooked for us was the most wonderful and delicious roast. I’ll never forget it! ❤

I just found you and subscribed. I had to catch my breath all through the video. This was a staple growing up and currently. My Mutti had the same pots and made it the same way except she finished it by sautéing in the electric frying pan. Thanks for the memories and a wonderful recipe. ❣️

Lovely recipe and so nice to watch you cook. I am 77 lady and my gramma and mom saved bacon grease. It makes great pie crust as gramma used it in the old days. Have it in my fridge today as well. I used to make a dutch cabbage for my kids when they were young. Put milk in it and a bit of nutmeg. They loved it. This brings back memories to me.

To solve the soggy bacon put it in last and toss with your noodles. Always save bacon fat it’s delicious for fried potatoes, for eggs, for searing meats

I air fried my bacon, retaining the fat, and added a few caraway seeds with that all-important pepper, then served with spaetzle pasta. A versatile recipe I'll keep using. Hi, I came across ur video and i did it my ? is when I put the dough in the fridge for 8 hrs is it supposed to rise more? So far it been 61/2 hrs in and theres no rise? so im a bit confused it did rised nicely overnight though. Should I keep it in there longer? ty so much!

@AnnaChavez-kg1fd it will some. Put on the parchment so you can put into the baking pan when it is ready. Preheat pan and keep bread on the counter while it is heating. Cut your suits on the bread right after you take out of the fridge.

Hi Tracy, I love how you presented the ingredients in the beginning of your video. It’s great you had good mentors and you have the desire to learn from them. I wish I would have been better in my younger years to ask or watch my grandmother Fran and absorb her knowledge. She is someone we homesteaders would learn so much from. I honestly am not fussy about it. If I take out a cup I put back in a cup of flour then add warm water till the consistency is like thicker pancake batter.
