@@westbromkoi they are crazy little creatures, they really do cheer me up at the end of a rough day, I know the k+ is showing signs of maturing, as the water quality has improved tremendously, and I can see it in the fishes behaviour, also losing three large fish will lighten the load of waste in the filters, so touch wood, everything's good 👍

@@Yvonne-ps8nf that's right, we kept em at the bottom of the garden, part from these are having a much better life than they did, but they were still happy.

@@oliverskinner8962 thank you for comment, It's already clean as the drum filter takes away the fines, there's not much sediment if any at all, with three and a half sacks of k+ in the moving bed, and other half in the second vortex, and with the two and a half sacks of k1, the water parameters have never been so good.

@@lifearoundthekoipond2283 we also have a Draco drum we have the solum 25 with 50 micron screen finest on the market, it still lets anything smaller than 50 micron through and with a flow rate of around 10,000 lph or less the K+ sinking (not the floating) would filter out less than 50 micron ! But good for people without a drum !

@@oliverskinner8962 I think there's a lot to be said about the k+ , as a static bed, with a steady flow running through it, I don't think there's much out there as good.

@@sweetkoiyo thanks Christine, I'll be making a start on the sand pit this afternoon, it's funny to see the dog and two cats keeping a wide berth of the ferret run every time they walk by, and since the los of the fish, the pond water has never been so good, we must have been well over stocked, hence the problems we've been struggling with, I'm well impressed with the k+ it's maturing very well, we do miss George, but sometimes I think it's better to be cruel to be kind.

@@paulwilloughby3265 well mate, I've subscribed to your channel, the videos I've made, I just come out with all sorts of mumbo jumbo, it's taken over a year to get 510 subscribers, you have a great knowledge of fish, fishing, and gardening, you could incorporate them all together, I think you'd do really well, not only that, your very funny, that'll get you subscribers alone mate, give it a go, you might like it.
