Inside or outside? Inside, you can use my door panel removal and its probably just a clip or couple of screws. Outside, negative, not through me. But im working on doing more for next season.

The micro bypass doesnt need a switch, it is the switch. You have to listen carefully to the video. It seems confusing at first, but once you understand what im doing,youll be oh I get it. This is good for when you have a backup camera and an automatic transmission. The reverse trigger is what triggers the relay to pulse ground to the light green wire on the pioneer. The light green wire cant see ground when the system is starting up. It has to be after. So the micro bypass uses the amp turn on wire which is after accessory, the red wire. So my method is the same thinv because the vehicle is already running when you put it in reverse. GOT IT? Good.🤪🤪🤣🤣

It is. That means moisture got inside of it..they used to much liquid..try a hairdryer before you go tearing it apart..it needs to dry out..just dont go too close with the hairdryer or you might melt something

Doesnt it just snap in the bumper? You can see the tabs in the video. I learned a trick by starting at the bottom and slidimg a fiber stick in between the two and then using a hook tool or really small screwdriver to push the tab in to release it. All the tools I use are in the description, I hope that helps. But I plan on making a custom mount for videoing a better view rather than the one handed way Ive been doing.

Its not used for anything. If you have the Bose sound system, then you might have to hardwire the speakers at the amp. This car did not have an amp

You have to look closely after I remove it..its a tiny tab that looks hidden. Its what locks it into the arm

@kristofferpence I would try to do just the cross bars. If you break that seal with the adhesive tape on the rails. It might leak after. We wouldnt want that. Besides, the rails dont need to be "cleaned" like that. Lol

There is a harness that retains it..but it sucks and the picture quality is horrible..I have a video on how to change the factory camera to aftermarket. I did it on a civic.

5? Doubtful. Even if there was a 5 volt source in any vehicle. I wouldnt suggest tapping into it because its such a low voltage that whatever the 5 volts went to. The dash cam would interfere with it. That and most dash cams are 12 volts and have a step down in the wiring that it comes with.

Was there any sound before install? Sounds like a dumb question but some people replace radios because of no sound.

Just looked. Those cars did have an amplifier option from the factory. If so, you need a bypass harness from metra. Part number 70-7305. But I would call the dealer and ask the parts department if the car has a factory amplifier. They should be avle to tell you when you provide the vin number.

Inside or outside? Outside is a pretty big process that I dont get involved in. Inside should be quite easy when the door panel is removed. Might be screwed in from the back side. Pretend to buy one online and see what it looks like removed. That way you can see how it would be taken out or removed and what to look for.

@@richideates I am able to change out my door lock cylinder, I was stuck on it for 5 to 8 hours but I finally got it.

I wish I had more time for those type videos. But glad to hear
