“Russo didn’t understand Wrestling” from the guy that pimps AEW that can’t draw ratings or attendance, yet Russo in the WWF was insanely pop culture. The Russo hate is beyond played out. And yes I know his other runs sucked, but how many amazing weekly shows did he write for WWF?

The biggest wrong doing was taking Starrcade out of Greensboro and Atlanta and putting it in Chicago. It didn't kill, but badly damaged two of Crocketts biggest towns. Aswell as that, Crockett was running Starrcade in the UIC pavilion instead of the Rosemont Horizon because Vince gained exclusivity to the Rosemont. So whilst Crockett went into Chicago, believing it to be a big market for them (which it was when they were able to run the Rosemont) they made about half if not less than they would have made by just sticking to Greensboro and Atlanta. Aswell as that, to the Chicago fans, Crockett running his biggest show in the secondary arena, in the bad part of town, made Crockett look secondary to the WWF that was running the big building. The Road Warriors losing badly damaged Chicago, but didn't totally kill it just yet, but really hurt it. Although I think they couldn't have put the belts on the Warriors really because how would you take if off them. Best case scenario would have been to have the Road Warriors win the belts via an officiating mistake and on TV the next week have the NWA board return the belts to Anderson and Blanchard. Or just don't do the match for the belts. Aswell as that the main event of Garvin and Flair wasn't a good main event for Chicago. Garvin was hot in the Carolina's, but wasn't saw as that big star everywhere else.

This idiot host got it wrong with the Undertaker and Triple H match. It was the one from 28 that was the end of an era match not the Mania 27 match.🤦‍♂

It was a fatal four-way elimination match. Not just a regular fatal four-way. It came down to rock versus HHH at the end.🎉. I believe they should’ve had Mick Foley go down to the end, but it is what it is. I’m one of the people that actually likes this main event. plus this we had TLC number one at this mania

It’s funny because if you back and listen to old 2005 WO radio shows, Dave and Bryan spend most of the year saying Cena is a horrible wrestler and only over with kids. Now Dave is looking back like he was the most over in the company

It is funny because AEW has stepped up. Not Monday Night Wars level, but we have an alternative for main guys to go, which resulted in the betterment of WWE as well.

*In case anyone is interested- WWE predicted 3 million subscriptions within the first year of the WWE Network. In the entire existence of the Network, they've never even topped 2 million.*

Some of the other NWA members at this time in the early 90s besides Don Owen and Steve Rickard were Jim Crockett, Gary Juster, Elliott and Carl Murnick, and Larry O'Day from Australia. WCW decided it was time to stop emphasizing "NWA" when they couldn't get full control of the name from the other promoters. Otherwise, they'd have to do what Dave said and whatever else was stipulated by the NWA By-Laws or risk a lawsuit, which was Turner Broadcasting's worst nightmare. It was actually Kip Frey that arranged for the NWA title tournaments in 1992. But by the time they happened , Bill Watts was in charge. Also, WCW was a member until September'1993. They owned the NWA title belt but couldn't call it the NWA title anymore. They eventually settled on re-branding it as the WCW International World Title and it was in 1994 when it was unified with the WCW World title.

He tried to learn Japanese to communicate with their fans. Japans fans are the best fans in the world. 12:01 thank you for saying that. Boxing is great also, and as is Catch as Catch Can, Muay Thai, judo, kung fu or wushu, and taekwondo kicks. I also like some Aikido and small joint jiu jitsu and wing chun and JKD. 12:26 I was too. Doubles were all I knew. I watched an old rival in his finals state championship match as a freshmen and it was tied with 10 seconds to go or so and Louis Bland shot in just like I did, and he won. Later I was watching a video about Gables Hawkeyes and one of the guys said the more I’m in on his legs the less he’s in on mine.

Even if they had charged $5/10for a non big 4 ppv and £15/20 for a big 4 ppv IF you had a Network subscription they could have brought in a lot of extra cash - Not that I am complaining but looking at it from a business standpoint….

And that was an easy one. The Japanese are some of the stiffest wrestler in the business. Which is why i prefer it over any other pro wrestling. They keep it as "real" as possible.

After what he did to Bulldog, Bret was well within his rights not wanting anything to do with losing to Shawn, since he disrespected the whole Hart family that night just because he didn't want to drop a secondary title. If I were Bret, I would have refused to work with him period since Shawn spent all of 97 insulting Bret and his family both in ring and outside of it. Bret should have just sit home, relinquishing the title waiting for his contract to end

kenta literally built that up like he was giving homeboy all the time he needed to back out if he was having 2nd thoughts! which i definitely would have after seeing the guy literally preparing himself to chop me like some kind of torture interrogator!!!kenta chopped him at like 20% power lol..still sounded like lightning!! Samoa Joe taking literally like 50 in a row in their match made my chest sting just watching it almost 20 years removed!! Joe looked like he was holding back tears when he was taking those rapid fire chops lol.
