That's a lot of money for primer! It got to about 45 here today but it's going to be back down in the 20s the rest of the week. Sizing for clothing is so all over the place. I know at old navy I wear a 8 in jeans but if I buy the same at lets say Walmart there either to big or to small.

It depends on what the coupon states. Some items could be free, while others will say 4 dollars off 32 oz or more. Some are just a flat amount. Its kind of a way of advertising.

Also some can be like 10$ off your whole order at a certain store.

It was a fun day out. I needed it. I'll see if I can post the picture of the dress she ended up using. She goes on Friday to Florida for her friends birthday party and will be there until Monday night I think.

@MaryandShaun I'm sure it was much needed to get out. It's always work work work. Good to do something different. Good for her she's going to Florida to celebrate her friend. Sounds fun. Of course, she needs a special dress for a special occasion. Good she finally found one. It would stink to be out all week trying to find one before she goes away. Obviously, her eye must be doing good. That's great. I would guess I'm going to have to wear an eye patch in between the two surgeries until the second eye is done because that would throw me off having one eye that's corrected and not the other. I think I would end up with headaches and nausea. But my cataracts are really bad. I have cataracts that are different from the typical older person cataract. People in their '50s get them.

I am. I'm out and about looking for a dress for my mother-in-law to wear to her friends 60th birthday party. No luck yet and we've been to 5 or 6 different places already

I don't know if it has to do with health or not all I know is that the VA is paying for it so that might have something to do with why its going to be done sooner.

We haven't used the knives yet but I'm sure we will sometime this weekend. Skyler is really funny, but he normally doesn't want to be on camera so I don't put him on unless I ask first.

Yes, She got home just fine and everything is good. She goes in on Feb. 13th to have the other eye done. The VA is doing it so they wanted to do one at a time. Everything went well and she can see now out of that eye.

I just wanted to crawl in bed and go back to sleep. That day sucked. I had a much better day today and also found out I don't have to work this weekend.

@MaryandShaun I know days like that you want to stay in bed and shut the world out. I saw that. I just watched your video. Funny you're sending me this right now. I was going to comment on there. Hope mom/grandma Is doing good from her cataract surgery. Hope it went well. Hope recovery is good. I actually have cataracts in both eyes I have to have surgery. I'm really dreading it. I have an autoimmune disease and I'm at higher risk for complications. They already said it's going to take longer than the average person. I am so busy with so many things in life right now I don't know when the heck I'm going to have it. But my vision is not the best right now. So I have to find a way to squeeze it in. course it sounds nuts I don't want to end up blind. eyes come first. I am nervous about it even though usually it's like nothing for them to do the surgery and most people do fine. It's just the fact too that they can only do one eye at a time. So get one done then I have to go back for the other. It really sucks. Also getting help I only have one person. My son and he is so busy with work. He doesn't care he wants me to get it done and that's a priority to him. I do know one person that had retinal detachment. A complication from it. So that scares the heck out of me. Oh well one of these days I have to suck it up squeeze it in and do it. Just a recommendation... have you seen online there are recipes for a different type of chili. White bean, green chilie, chicken chili. It can be done in a pot or you can do it as a casserole with white rice. I've had it both ways. It is so darn good. I actually just had the rice one a few days ago. If you like those ingredients. It's also with chicken broth and cream cheese. The rice one is so creamy and delicious. I was just thinking since you seem to like chicken and make meals with chicken. It's just another option in the future. There are people that put it over rice if you do the pot recipe. But you don't have to that's just a preference. The recipes are online. I may have said it in the past when I have made chili over the years we put it over elbow macaroni noodles. For some reason for us it's not the same if we don't have it with elbow macaroni noodles. Tho,of course, it tastes great without the noodles. That's awesome you don't have to work this weekend. Good for you! If I don't talk to you for a bit have a great weekend. I will see what you're up to, of course, when I watch the upcoming videos. I do enjoy seeing what you're all up to everyday, Your shopping trips and what you're making for meals. You all remind me of myself and my children In a lot of ways. although my children are out of the house now. So my life is different now. But doing similar things daily. work, domestic things, shopping, making meals, etc. very relatable.

It was a bit better than yesterday. I need to clean some of our blinds especially in the kitchen. I don't know how pasta sauce got on them from the other side of the kitchen but it did. 6 miles that's a lot. It's to cold here to even want to go outside.

@MaryandShaun Glad to hear he's better. Sorry, I hope I didn't sound terrible making comments like that about my mom. It's just a fact. Like I said, she really does have a good side to her. Also I don't know if I made it sound like I'm making mistakes but that isn't the case. She just has to butt her nose in with everybody and make comments. I'm not saying I'm perfect but there aren't any major mistakes I've made in my life. I'm just your average everyday ordinary person.

Yeah it was nice to come home to a clean house but I still put the laundry away because there's a certain way I like it to be done. Plus I like doing laundry most people don't. Yes grandma is a really big part in our lives. We lived with her until we were 32 we have only moved out almost 7 years ago now. I moved in with them when I was 16 and was there until 32. The boys were 8 and 13 when we moved out. She's always wanting to help us out, but also try to let us live our own life. It's hard on here seeing as we all were there for so long and now she lives alone. Well with Max (the dog) So she calls almost everyday just to check up on us and to see if we need anything.

@MaryandShaun I like doing laundry. Always great to have fresh things. I know sometimes when someone else does something for you, you do it over, have your own way of doing it. That's good you had somewhere to go at 16 if you needed that in your life at the time. Unless that was something you just chose to do. That's nice you had all lived together. Like I said, it's great you all have each other. I know that's got to be hard to see her living alone but you're all always there for her. That's what counts. Also, it's not like you moved far away from her. That would be even tougher. That's good she lets you live your own life. Sounds like she's not what would you call it a buttinski. Butting into your life all the time. Telling you what to do, how to do it. My mom keeps her mouth shut but behind my back, unfortunately ,at times she tells my siblings what she thinks I should be doing differently. But it's not just me she will talk about all of her children behind their back. Not right. I don't want to make her sound bad though she does have a very good side to her. I don't think it's right too because my mom has made mistakes in her life and is not perfect. Don't judge when you can be judged. I would never do that to my boys. They are both older and out of the house now and I would never do that. I'm talking about the talking behind their back to the other son. I don't butt into their lives. They are doing well on their own. But I do give them tips, advice, still try to guide them in making good choices. Once a mom always a mom.

Yeah it sucks that I have to work the whole weekend, but Sunday is double time so I'll be getting paid a lot for working then.

That sounds like a fun project, I've been wanting to update our kitchen, but just haven't got the funds to it. It's in the 30s this week here it feels like spring well almost.

Skyler is still sick. It sucks that hes sick on the weekend. He's getting better but not at 100% yet. We also have had milder winters the past 3 or 4 years. This year has been a 'normal' winter for us. I'm the youngest of me and my sister, but we're only 18 months apart. I like baking more than cooking I think its because you have to measure things out when cooking you don't really have to.

@MaryandShaun That's too bad. Sorry to hear Skyler still isn't well. Glad he's not worse. It does stink on a weekend with no school. Right, I'm sure you realize that's what I meant about the measuring. with cooking for the most part you don't have to. I've been cooking for so long that for the most part I just wing it. Okay it's you and your sister. I'm the oldest of four, like I said. Three girls and one boy. The sister closest to age in me is like you only 18 months apart. She just had a birthday a few days ago. I don't see her that much though.She lives in Oklahoma but we are very close. I'm the opposite of you I prefer cooking over baking. I can bake but I find some of it boring. Cookies especially. I also feel like with cooking you can taste things as it cooks and as it goes depending on what you're making. With baking like cookies you can't taste them until they're done. So if there's something I want to change or I screw it up I won't know until it's done and it's too late! I forgot to tell you and I think it's wild since I have been talking to you for a while now that my younger son is a senior away at college in Arizona. The wild thing is he's graduating in May with three Bachelor's degrees and one of them is CIS. I found it really wild that is what little Shaun is studying. I went holy cow. One of the other degrees is also in computers,data analytics. He has a job coming out of college. He had an internship this last summer and they offered him a full-time job. But like I keep saying I found it wild that is what your son is studying. If he has any questions let me know. My son is very helpful. I know I sound biased but he's a great kid. He'd be more than happy to help him if he ever needs it! I know Big Shaun is IT and can help him but if there's anything specific with those classes that he needs help with or has questions just let me know! Haven't watched your video yet today.
