I'm pretty angry to learn how large corporations, who hate individuals breaching their copyrights, were comfortable breaching billions of others' copyrights to teach their models and then ask you to respect the copyright of their AI-generated "art". Utter hypocrisy.

Nice one @henrik, this is so informative! Probably the best and most enjoyable summarisation I've seen. You always were great at using the bikablo style (I used your "from the trenches" guides, back in the day). I can't wait for one on "Quantum Computing", lol (hint, nudge, please 🙏😉)

Fun video! But that design document is not great and it seem to be ordered in the way you prompted it rather than how you would build it.

I have a couple questions about 3d noise and terrain heights. Im working on my own 3d noise terrain generator and i wanted better generation, so i looked at this video. I would love to know how terrain heights corresponds to 3d noise, since for my current code i am getting 3d perlin noise by inputting the x, y, z, and seed. Then, i was transforming that value based on curves. I was generating some noise with spine points. I tried ramping one point up to see if i could get spikes, but instead of spikes at some parts i was getting blobs. I know how to squash densities based on the y axis, and i know how to generate noise, but i just cant wrap my head around terrain height and 3d noise. If you want i can further explain what I’m doing but this comment is getting long.

I find it interesting that error rate is not discussed more. I've put many atlanta algebra 2 problems in chat gpt 4.0 and it gets the answers wrong more often than right. The steps it shows aren't always accurate. It will also give different answers to same problem. I think its long term usefulness is exaggerated unless it can improve.
