The funny thing about whitewashing/race-swapping is that race does matter to people. "Representation" for example, but Hollywood is expected to cater to everyone and everything when it was created in a majority white country. I don't like Hollywood's assumption that white people will sell better than non-white people any more than I like race swapping.

i dont believe this at all, sounds so extremely biased, with little to no context or nuance on why the film was bad, LOL FILM BAD BECAUSE *insert race here* perhaps it was bad for a different reason jesus(if you actually believe this is intellectually dishonest)

The more you people talk about the different type of people and different races the more you create separation in this country. This Country The United States of America is nobody's land. When you die and they die who cares the land belongs to the Lord God the Creator of Heaven and Earth. You created you own destruction and instead of going and repent from the Creator for your sins you go and ask the very people for peace? Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other god's before me, "saith the Lord"... Maybe you dont understand that but for all intensive purposes you learn from the Lord and lean on the Lord for understanding. You and the rest of the world are creating a problem call RACISM. Easier for man and woman to say RACISM then to search what the problem really is!!!! So do the World a favor and seek understanding from the Creator and not yours..

This video is very touching to me. Having been blessed to live in Japan, Korea and the Philippines in my life. Finding out so much about Asian culture is amazing. Now when I found out part of my DNA ancestry is South East Asian which I learnt recently, that really surprise me. I really thank the countries I lived in Asia that open my mind and heart too. Very sorry that the discrimination that Asians have are not taught as much as other groups are. That is why having the internet is so important. Look am I missing something really obvious here, how does she poison the conman when she drinks all the wine?
@chelxian66953 жыл бұрын
while they are kissing she's giving all the wine to counts mouth and you can see him swallowing something after they kiss (sorry bad english)
@RobertoGonzalez-kl3it2 жыл бұрын
@@chelxian6695 exactly, she is passing the wine into his mouth basically turning him on and ensuring that he drinks the opium.

👋 Hey! Jeff, the director and editor, here! It's been really interesting seeing the longevity of the video and all your insights and critiques into what should be included. This video was my final project for my NYU Class - Filming Asian America: Documenting Community and was a culmination of all that I learned about filmmaking, journalism, and media activism while there. As the single researcher and editor of this video, I could have only wished to have some of your suggestions and inputs into creating this video but alas this was the best I could do at the time. For those yearning for more, I would heavily suggest the PBS documentary series "Asian Americans"! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me at [email protected] or reach out @moodinfinite on Instagram.

lol I like how you try to frame it as "dialogue" when it's really just to show where the us has bombed and killed people across Asia. Cool jackets though, shame about the history.
