@@ayandokunolaitan5342 Hi! Moving the hands away is such a common thing for the little ones. Some of them really fight it. Holding their hands in yours helps a lot when trying to position their hands. Keep practicing and don't give up!

Hi Mama, at 10 months of age your baby should be sitting independently, crawling, standing with support and cruising around the furniture. Wow thank you thank you thank you!!!!!! The physiotherapist I went to only showed me 2 different moves to go and it wasn't working for my son. He absolutely hated it. I tried these and he got suuuuch a good stretch while doing the football style hold. He actually fell asleep while doing it

Hello and thank you for reaching out. With flatness of the head, always remember to decrease the pressure on the flat part. Turn the head so the flat part is not on the floor.

Is it still torticollis if the baby is looking to one side without the tilting? For instance, my child prefers looking to her right side, but often with no tilt. When sleeping, she has her head rolled toward the right with her right ear facing down on the mattress. I’ve been instructed to do stretches from her pediatrician, so I’m wondering if we should just do stretching that promotes looking to the opposite side.

It is still torticollis just by definition. Sometimes the side flexion is not noticeable or not present. I am available for a quick zoom consultation -- free 10 min consult if you need my opinion. Doing the stretches by your MD will be helpful as well. Usually you stretch any asymmetrical posture.
