This is one of my favorite songs of the album, although the whole album is perfect, I especially love this song, because I once lived in California, and it really breaks my heart. Whoever listening to this song, wherever you are, we are somehow sharing the same story :)

Right after she sings "my fairweather freind" part in the bridge at 2:42, she pulls a face like either "ouch my finger slipped a key" or "ouch my vocals." I love her. she is the only artist I know that makes an album that impresses me each and every time and makes me fall in love with her music more and more.

That was really good. Like, I expected it to be good but it was REALLY good. Didn't expect this song to translate that well live... but it does. And I never realized how intricate the piano on this song is until seeing her hands in this video. The left hand is all over the place!
