After all your work with GHS, do you still like ET?
@viewintospace14 сағат бұрын
No, very rarely that I use it. There are some scripts in Toolbox which work better and also in postprocessing in Luminar Neo I find better option to make things pop

After updating window 11 my Access Point on the Eagle X screen there is a yellow Triangle and I cant see the AP IP number any ideas? thanks

I would contact the PLL support - they are usually very helpful!
@rickfair88632 күн бұрын
@@viewintospace Figured it out, if you make a password for the AP under Advance settings don't use a 4 dig number once I changed it to a letter combination it took the Triangle away and showed the IP address correctly. If anyone else has this issue hope this helps.

There are definitely better and cheaper solutions to control your scope. This software it aimed at people who study Astronomy or are interested in the science. The software is updated in a way that it works with present OS, but there were no new features added since the video which is not a good sign….

Sascha, the developer also has a StarEdit App for $2 that does Star removal and add them back. I'm gonna get them both and give them a try. Definitely has the possibilities of making it easy to show and get others going in Astrophotography. You can also do "camp fire horror" stores by telling them what they have to look forward to with Pixinsight! 🤣

Thanks for the video. Always very useful. Interesting about the Mac version still not supporting Apple silicon but then they say it might not work on anything older than MacOs14! New gradient tool looks good though. I wonder if it will mean an end to taking flats? It handled the vignetting very well. Perhaps it will remove dust bunny artifacts too? Hope you had a great Christmas and best wishes for 2025. Clear skies.

2 Question's once you get your Eagle5 is there a way to register your Eagle with PrimaLuceLab's for warranty Coverage? And other Question is should we let windows 11 do updates on the Eagle5? I did a backup of the SSD prior to installing any drivers or software.
@viewintospace13 күн бұрын
First question I have no clue as I got the Eagle directly from PLL... Second question if your Eagle already comes with Windows 11 installed, then it's fine to let Windows run the updates. The only thing I would not do if migrate an Eagle from Win 10 to Win 11.

Beware, there is aa processor hardware requirement at the bottom of the Release info page. It will not run on my computer but doesn't perform a hardware check and appeared to install but will not open after installed. Had to then uninstall and revert back to Ripley. Repositories are intact, but do have to reinstall all. Here is the requirement: Since version 1.9.0, PixInsight requires an x64 processor with AVX2 and FMA3 instruction support on Linux and Windows. Unfortunately, this requirement breaks compatibility with hardware using Intel processors released before 2013 and AMD processors older than 2015, approximately.

Kannst Du mir Tipps geben?
@viewintospace13 күн бұрын
Gand ehrlich gesagt. mit allem was ich inzwischen weiss, wenn Du kannst, verkauf das Ding und kauf Dir ein C8 HD OTC dafür (meiner Erfahrung nach will das Ding aber niemand...) und sonst defork es.
