This is a very cool video, very cool… but I am very familiar with my favorite type of insect - the cricket. What you have here is not a member of the family phylliidae, of the [stick-insect] order Phasmatodea, but rather a member of the family Tettigoniidae, of the [Cricket] sub-order Ensifera [Order Orthoptera]. This is most likely one of several species of “Sylvan Katydids”, also known as “Sylvan Bush-Crickets”, of the Zabalius genus. Identifying insects goes a little deeper than superficial appearance, and/or one’s feelings about something… like many other things, it comes down to biology - there are many biologically diverse insects [of different taxonomical orders] that could be called “leaf bugs”, or “leaf insects”, because of their strong resemblance to foliage besides “[walking] stick insects” (Phasmatodea), which includes specialized species of mantises, roaches, grasshoppers, cicadas, and, of course, crickets, as in this very case in point.
