Appreciate Jason giving me the last push I needed to finally get into arson, MaJaMa is truly inspirational. Awesome episode, gonna give this movie a look ASAP. Remember seeing the tape at the video store as a kid and the cover was always so eye-catching, probably because Grace Jones is incredible. Good to know the movie is just as cool as the box.

Spaghetti Carbonara: Take as many eggs as the people who'll eat plus one (if three people are eating, four eggs - and so on). Whisk them with grated Parmesan and Romano cheese until you get some sort of goop. Add pepper to taste. Meanwhile, fry some cubed pancetta (or cubed bacon). Boil the spaghetti. Drain them. Put them back into the pot (the fire still on). Pour on top the goop and whisk them for some 20-30 seconds (so that the eggs cook). Add the bacon. Plate and serve.

Oh, yeah - and there are also "real zombies" (mainly in Haiti), who are people who, after being in catalepsy (mainly thanks to some kind of drugs), they've been buried alive, and somehow they've managed to dig themselves outside the tomb. Not an ideal experience, if you ask us...

So on the swapping of a few cast members races, they actually did end up recasting the Rangers in old school MMPR to try and get away from the Asian = yellow ranger, black guy = black ranger thing. But it's kinda funny cause they still used the OG characters names, like Zach was black originally but he was replaced by Adam, who was Asian, as the black ranger. So you'd think they'd just make Adam the original black ranger here but they kept Zach's name and a bit of his personality. The designs on this one are so ass, man. The suits ALMOST work, but man Goldar and the Zords look rough. It's like they tried to go for a "realistic" sci-fi look but it's so limp. If you guys ever want a more interesting realistic take on the kind of henshin hero stuff, there was a really cool Kamen Rider movie in the 90s called Shin Kamen Rider that turned the transformation stuff into straight body horror. Very interesting and worth checking out.

We are still baffled by many of the laughable choices othat would up in this movie - from its length to, well, everything else. And Matteo is already on the case of "Shin Kamen Rider" (which is on Prime). So... It'll happen. Also, we're VERY intrigued by the fact that "baffling" and "laughable" use different spelling and yet their pronunciation is the same - and this is both baffling and laughable.

Adding Cranston was a nice touch, yes. ALMOST like when they used Robert Forster in "Breaking Bad," creating a reunion 40 years in the making from their first collaboration together, "Alligator" (where Cranston did some clerical jobs and special effects stuff).

I was disappointed too when I saw the movie back in 2017, I was expecting to hear the theme song too and expecting awesome things but the movie disappointed me. And fun fact: my mom used to watch “the power rangers” and I have sisters and one of my sisters is named Kimberly too. And yes I do have sisters.

Man it's heavily dipped in nostalgia for me but I still LOVE this one. It's creatively bizarre and seeing that cyberpunk aesthetic glued onto the bits and pieces from the Super Show and Super Mario World was confusing but man it really gels to me. Everybody involved seemed to have a terrible time but their performances and all the sets and props are so iconic all on their own. You guys probably go into it and I'm impatient and commenting before I'm done watching, but have you looked into the previous attempts to get the movie made? We got so close to what you guys were after with a full on cute little puppet Toad and lots of surreal fantasy landscapes and such. The concept art and early scripts are out there, very interesting stuff.

Matteo did know that - but the autocorrect (and the Webster dictionary) kept on insisting that it's "confetti" - even as a singular item (it's the same like "lasagna" - which is singular - that in reality is just one noodle. When you bake more than one, it should be "LasagnE"), For the 180th episode, we will have one single lasagna falling from the sky. Maybe.
