Hello Amanda, this dip technique is really great and the picture looks fantastic 🤩🥰 I have tried this technique on watercolour paper, but it soaks up the colours touch. Is it wood you use in your video and which other underground would be suitable? Thanks so much for your help 🥰🤗

The painting came out beautiful. But you should prime your wood prior to pouring any kind of paint. It will help in the long run.

Hello. Firstly, such beautiful and creative artwork. Thank you for sharing and inspiring. Could you tell me what you’re using to blowout your paint? It looks small and more manageable than a hairdryer.

I’m going to paint my first painting and place it in the living room. I loved the technique and the result; it turned out perfect. But is the canvas used made of fabric, or is it another material? It seems like it doesn’t absorb the paint in the video. Congratulations on the excellent work.

Question..I did my first resin pour on my acrylic painting and the edges all the way around ended and the sides are not covered in many places, what causes this? I’m afraid to try it again😢😢😢😢any advice?
@amandasdesignsofficial16 күн бұрын
It happens, it you used silicone in your painting it will repel the resin. Sometimes you just need more than one coat. I normally do at least 2.

Can you explain why your paints are so thin when you do this? I am interested in incorporating metallic spray paint but Im not sure if the paint consistancy has something to do with the finished piece. Yours is very pretty. Please share details if you can.
@amandasdesignsofficial16 күн бұрын
For this style I like it really thin so it blends more naturally.
@ohcheap1Ай бұрын
Very nice!! Why is the paint so watery? Ive never seen that before.🤔
@amandasdesignsofficial16 күн бұрын
I like to thin it down so it blends more.

Hi Amanda, this is beautiful. I wonder if you've found a solution to 'fix' the artwork to make it archival so the dyes in the alcohol ink don't fade over time. I've used spray varnish with UV protection but if you use matt then it turns the Mehron gold matt too, if you use gloss it makes the whole thing glossy which is just as bad. Would love to get some tips from the pro.
@amandasdesignsofficialАй бұрын
From what I've seen other people do, they just use the UV resistant sprays. You could always try a liquid varnish instead but I assume the matte or glossy would keep doing the same thing. I like to finish some pieces with resin which makes the gold pop.

Very beautiful 😍 What do you put on top to keep it shining. Like varnish or anything else?
@amandasdesignsofficialАй бұрын
This is resin so it keeps everything really shiny.

Always so gorgeous! May I ask the brand / ratio of airbrush medium to paint and water? Thank you! Keep the videos coming so inspiring!
@amandasdesignsofficialАй бұрын
Thank you! For this one I actually used liquitex pouring medium and water. I used about 3-4 parts medium to 1 part paint and then slowly incorporated water until it was the consistency that I wanted for the pour.

please can you share what is the silver? acrylic paint, mica mixed with medium? it gives such amazing effect! Congrats it's beautiful :)
