I didn't see it in either parts 1 or 2, did you add the sail panel boards at the rear of the headliner? If yes, how did you attach the headliner to them? Is the headliner glued down along the edge of the package tray? I am doing a Dart with a similar design and I have not been able to find any videos that address how to deal with the sail panels. Thanks.
@provibegarage12 күн бұрын
I did not add the sale panel boards in the back sides. I just glued the headliner itself to the package tray, little lip on the sides, as well as the pinch welds on the back window and side q windows

Interesting idea, lots of work for sure. BTW youtube studio has a lot of free music that you can use for time lapses, also Library in Nepean has 3 to use 3D printer if you need any plastic pieces to create but you need to make a model. Good luck with the build.

What kind of gun were you using? Not worried about overspray on your collectibles?
@provibegarage2 ай бұрын
My first paint spray was a crappy gun. Then I used a good one I borrow from a friend. Not sure what it was. As for overspray I did drape things over some of my stuff but I 3D printed or built most of the stuff I have so a simple sand and repaint of anything isn’t an issue. By the time it hits my collectibles it’s dust and easily wiped off
@jessicagreene17733 ай бұрын
What did you use to cut the handle area vinyl and backing board?

Hello, I just subscribed a few days ago. I have also just finished watching all 51 videos. I to, am a lifelong fan of the 69 charger. In 1989, I had a chance to buy a 69 charger with no running gear or interior. Not a single bit if rust on it for 500 dollars. I regret not getting it every day now. I know back then I didn't have the means to start restoration on it or even a place to store it till I could. But it was rust free. I really like all you have done. I do have one question if I can ask. When the car was delivered to you. Is what is in the video all it came with, or was there part's to complete the care with it. Mainly like suspension and cross members and such. Or is that something you still have to get. I look forward to every video you make on your car.

How did it work out with no paint booth and ventilation? Did you end up with a lot of dust and bugs in the paint? Did your neighbours complain about the odours and overspray? I want to paint a car eventually so I am wondering what is needed. Also, what size of compressor did you use and was it adequate? Are you using a fancy paint gun or a cheap one? How did you learn to paint?Thanks.
@provibegarage3 ай бұрын
Worked out well. I have some artifacts in the paint. Settled in the flat surfaces. A Wes and cut and buff will get rid of that. Neighbours are good even came to see it and talk with me. My compressor is 26 gallon and 7 hp. Plenty to do the job. And the paint gun I used at first was cheap. Got a real good one to repay the car after from a buddy. His guns are $1000 or so compared to my $200 one. What a difference.
