@wachu8605 Жыл бұрын

Amazing! Maybe one day, I will throw that kind of money in our TT 225 Cabriolet. But in Germany, all the parts you swapped are around 6.000€ at least so for that money I'd rather buy a car and resell it or refurbish the suspension on all our cars. What is very nice is the Bilstein B13 coilovers, which are better than KW coilovers. We had the KW V3 in our TT but after 5 years it was totally rusted and handling was not amazing. Currently we drive the FK coilovers which are surprisingly good and not much worse than the KW for a quarter of the price. At one point I will put the Bilstein B13 or B16 in there, but for now the FK is very nice.

in the UK it's £395 a year to pay road tax for a 1.8t. left this engine when it went to £320. now own a 1.6t astra k at 237hp 350ft at about 1300kg for £190 a year. it's basically a vxr engine in the last Astra's with a 4 cylinder block.

i have 00792 but i have power to compressor but its not engaging. so im guessing it could be my compressor thats bad? have not heard fans running either but i remember testing them last year and they worked.
@wachu8605 Жыл бұрын
It could be the compressor clutch as well. Verify it by applying 12v straight to the clutch plug and then go with the rest
@ChocoBaiterEUW Жыл бұрын
@@wachu8605 yes tried today the clutch and its kicking in.. also fans not kicking in. but they are working on both speeds when hotwiring them on the termoswitch so im clueless. might be a dead new sensor?

One question: everything goes back in place without setting parallelism or other? There is nothing adjustable in the back
@wachu8605 Жыл бұрын
Hi! It just goes back, but you have to do full wheel geometry at the end.
@oooo_45929 Жыл бұрын
@Wachu thanks, but for the rear there is no adjustment? Do you mean that you have to do a geometry at the front after having raised the rear?
@wachu8605 Жыл бұрын
@@oooo_45929 You have to verify the camber and adjust the control arms if applicable in your case. There is nothing you have to do with the front
@oooo_45929 Жыл бұрын
@@wachu8605 ok but in my case, i use OEM parts with original arms without adjustments. so there is nothing special to do? and for the driveshaft you simply put the screws back in place and ok? Thanks you
@wachu8605 Жыл бұрын
@@oooo_45929 That's right, there is no adjustment at the back. I had to use regulated control arms as i lowered car a little bit and without them the camber would be too big and i wouldnt get the MOT. Driveshafts just go in, just remember to use a lot of grease and tighten them really securely so you don't lose them on highway :)
