It is a good flight, congrats. One question is why it will not use the back 6 rotors to propel the plane ahead with the front 6 to make it fly faster? The plane can reduce the rotors to eight to improve the efficiency and energy....

this is not on flightradar24 as a legal flight or if it actually did do a flight!!!! the N302AX has no results on flightradar24 as if it never went up ! please explain to the FAA why it's shown flying with no flight history or plans!.

This is an old flight. Archer has only one Midnight Aircraft and it has a new graphic scheme since the delivery to the USAF.

Since no one is answering, I will tell you. Archer has not actually delivered an aircraft to an Air Force Base. This is at Salinas Municipal Airport in CA. The C130’s, conveniently shown in the video to make it look like the Midnight is at an Air Force Base, were flown in with testing equipment and personnel. It would be best if Archer had a Nusz release when their aircraft was actually delivered to an Air Force Base and not mislead investors by saying a Midnight was “delivered”. It was an in-place delivery. Smoke and mirrors as usual. It’ll all be worked out in the end. We shall see in 2025 who actually receives FAA type certification and commences operations and who does not. It’ll be very clear to everyone.

It seems to have a wingspan capable of gliding. As long as the avionics are intact and you're flying at altitude, a soft landing seems very feasible. Alternatively: this looks small enough that you could equip an emergency parachute for loss-of-power scenarios (though it wouldn't be ideal).

There were several E-VTOL selected for testing. All of these E and EVTOL have advantages: The battlespace is not always primitive, and existing grids with Nuclear and Hydropower make this a smart way to move small teams around modern environments. These smaller rotors make a lot less sound pressure sonic effects, thus harder to detect when flying close to the ground. E powered craft will be the future because of remote laser/microwave charging from space and near space, providing loiter and travel times beyond any solid liquid fueled aircraft. Obviously VTOL is a big attribute, even more the size of this and weight to land compared to a helo or VTOL Jet. Having a manned version first is also sensible as that extra weight and utility can be removed with payload advantages on unmanned versions. Happy that the US Military is adopting civilian tech from multiple innovative vendors instead of just supporting big industry players.

David Muntz - thief of intellectual property from his previous employer, (or employerS, none of whom has succeeded in putting an evtol on the market...) and now 400 "flights" that go nowhere, not even like a student pilot's circuits, just lethargic, screaming hover to wingslevel 'wandering' a bit within eyesight over and over and over.... Evtol research has posted more honest summations of what is really going on. Listening to Muntz' cocky nasal self congratulation does not mask the abject failure of this oversized.overweight sluggish flop
