My parents bought a house here now where my loving mother still lives... The back yard alone was almost about 45 not quite 50 yards across length.( fence to inner fence, not the outside) and the front yard was longer and wrapped around the sum a bit$# !! and guess what my bother got to edge, trim, and mow with; Corded electric trimmer {weed eater} w/ 100s feet long frayed extension cords corded electric edger {if it worked} (using same frayed extension cords) Yardman (18 or 20" inch) PUSH mower with a improvised busted front wheel setting adjustment lever from a have screwed on chisel engineered by my Father that caused nothing but the thing to dig in the grass and make 3 times hard to manually push in the sometimes humid miserable Oklahoma sun... AND the best part was clean up... Gas Yard and Leaf blower? haha, sadly no! Electric blower with the bad extension cords?... Sorry wrong again! and the most sophisticated pieces of hardware to ever hit the shelves of a retail store it is the all new exciting... ... Christmas

I wonder if you would mind enabling the cc. I am having a bit of trouble understanding. Edit: alternatively you could hold the box up and hold it still so we can read the title. I missed the first game entirely. Great video, I want to try some of these games and perhaps purchase them for my family.

I don't see why you went out of your way to report them when they were clearly just having fun. I love getting people who use this rock technique. I know that it used to be so bad that the survivor could hold the game hostage, but I don't see the reasoning for reporting them like that. Also, this is a reason why EGC came out, to prevent holding games hostage.

The whole Tokyo people not realizing they are stuck in a bubble kind of reminded me of Megazone 23 where the people thought they were living in the 1980s are actually in a giant spaceship and the government basically hides that fact if I recall correctly.

Great to hear about your original Xbox memories. It's easily in my top 3 favorite consoles of all time, along with the SNES and Dreamcast. Loved DOA3 too! Cool that you were in the top 300 people in DOA2. I never really played that online but likely would have been crushed if I had. I was never much good at fighting games. However, I used to be ranked in the top 100 in the world in Crimson Skies. Absolutely loved that game, especially online.

Also, 😃 I think the biggest difference between board games and video games is "the cost of not saving". If you ever mess up bad in a video game, you can reload a save file (or just inconveniently respawn). In the video games where you can't do this (like fighting games) the punishment is just a quick respawn or another quick match with players more on your level. It's rare to find video games where messing up can cost so much without going back (like Rust for instance). But in board games/card games, there is virtually no going back. Every move has a heavy weight of permanence tugging at it, reminding you of consequences to come and much time spent. Or at least it feels that way.

What card deck boxes do you use? Like the ones you show with the LOTR game?
@pOedGamerQuehegan6 жыл бұрын
They are MTG commander deck from Ultra-pro. They are a lot bigger so they can hold a 100 card commander deck with a 15 card sideboard. They are great for holding games that have a lot of cards.

Where are the solo war games? There are a ton of them out there...
@pOedGamerQuehegan6 жыл бұрын
I have just stared to get into war games. I have a lot of them. Mostly older ones that I found at a half price books really cheap. Most people I know don’t play them and most are complex to learn on your own. I have been watching a few vids on some to try and do solo plays on them but I keep getting confused on some of the rules. Also having to leave a game up for days is a little difficult with a 3 year old lol. When I get a few games under my belt I am going to do a video over war games.

What an amazing game collection you have! I thought I had a lot of games. An arcade like yours is an eventual goal of mine. Now go clean!
@pOedGamerQuehegan6 жыл бұрын
I have been collecting board games for a long time. I have so many now that I can't fit them all on that wall. I am going to reorganize that room so I have more storage space. The arcade I love so much. It really brings back memories from when i was young. Turn off the lights and seeing all the games on and the noise. I love it. Makes me feel like I am back in the 90's again. Don't remind me I have 2 dogs and they are shedding because of the quick temp drop. Vacuum, vacuum and then to finish up vacuum again lol.
@ProfessorWalker6 жыл бұрын
pOedGamerQuehegan I am going to watch the videos of your arcade now. It is really hard to do that here in Southern California. Houses are too expensive and small. I grew up in Kansas and we had finished basements. You could do a lot in a basement. No basements in California, earthquakes.
@pOedGamerQuehegan6 жыл бұрын
I would love a basement but my house don't have one. If you don't have a lot of room build a mame arcade. Just one machine with all the games. If space is an issue that is the only way to go. My brother lives in Texas. He said they can't have basements because of flooding.

Interesting and enjoyable video. I only play solo, so any new ideas or lists are great to see. Due to chronic health problems I've not played anything for sometime but your video encouraged me to maybe get something to the table. I own many of the same games as you and am always fascinated by the different order and views of all the gamers out there. I recently watched the original 1978 Dawn of the Dead film. A free print and play game based on that film is available. You have to print out the board and one sheet of tokens and your good to go. Off topic... that couch looks mighty comfy! Thanks for uploading.

I’m glad you like the vid. I am trying to make more board game videos, but with a 3 year old it’s really hard. That’s why I play solo a lot. I would love to have a regular game not. Maybe when he is older. I have the pnp dawn of the dead game but never printer it out. The couch isn’t very comfortable. Needs more back support lol.
