Those Church grounds seem extremely familiar? I may have visited them 5 years ago as a Holding Location for a Shoot... the Red Door and entryway, Tower Bell tolling the hour, the brown Pagoda Benches all strike me as someplace I've spent time at. It maybe the very place I was counseling a friend over the phone during a break, that was having a difficult moment with her boyfriend? Thank you for sharing this bit of your walkabout luv! 🙏😘

Just listened to your brave and reasonable tip for DHS and obtaining their Housing Voucher... and you are correct and quite accurate in describing their "tiered" voucher gradients, which also is further segregated with couples and families with children, then single women, and lastly single men. Single women with no children, and single men in the mid-age ranges tend to carry the greatest stigma in the system. Societal expectations and entrenched systemic expectations fuel these stigmas and prejudices as much as the legitimate negative experiences of some of the Landlords... and the difficulties of being shown a livable place in a decent and travel convenient neighborhood can be yet another hurdle to be overcome depending on whether one has built a credit score good enough to be shown and accepted in such an edifice. As you stated... it will depend on the individual, their case and current circumstances, and how they present themselves to prospective realtors. I hope your advice will be heard and most importantly, adhered to and followed...😓😅

It is sad that so many stars remain hidden behind the clouds, or never leave their "stellar nurseries" to shine on their own... it is a source of profound sadness when such talents go unknown and unappreciated. But weep not L'il Sista for those who do find some other source of happiness and peace to fill their lives. I too shed a tear for the ones who never find peace in their choice of obscurity... therein lies the greatest source of empathy and of sorrow. 🙏😢

I've been a fan of the YeahYeahYeahs for many years, not sure if it was ZERO, or HEADS WILL ROLL that I first heard on WLIR that got me into them... your cover of MAPS was more energetic than your last couple of Karaoke renditions, your vocals were stronger and I could feel your performance, emotional and fun! 🤘😄

I would love to accompany you on this little shopping trips like the neighbor I am (I am overdue for a trip to Dollar Tree)! Also... I too sleep on a special ergonomic pillow for my neck, and have one for my computer chair (I used to have a little issue with my tail bone)! 🙏😚
